I am so thankful for this place. We traveled out of town, and I searched on here for gluten free places. There was a decent amount of reviews for Meatheads, but nothing super recent. When I got there, I told him I had celiac. He told me that they have a dedicated fryer just for gluten free fries. The gluten free bun was as expected, didn’t have too much crumbling, and wasn’t so dry I needed a drink after each bite. The fries were incredible, and you get so many. It felt great to order food and feel a little normal. I loved being able to enjoy fries with my burger. Would highly recommend!

Good place! GF Buns and dedicated gf fryer. Friendly staff. Staff even came over to our table to see how I liked my GF bun (which was, admittedly, falling apart) and to seek feedback on what they could do to improve it.

Meatheads was awesome. Separate fryer and stove for burgers + fries. Fries were very tasty and they gave you a large portion. Burger was also good but the GF bun did fall apart. Overall, very pleased with this place and their precautions they take!

I had lunch here today after visiting a local quilt shop! I had a junior burger and fries on a gluten free bun. There was a $2 up charge for the gluten free bun, but is was well worth it! The French fries were awesome and the bun held together without crumbling like some do! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. My friends not needing gluten free also enjoyed their lunches. Most had burgers, but one had chicken tenders which she really enjoyed!

We are traveling and found this to be a great spot. The chef cleaned the grill, used gloves and made sure to keep our meal gluten free!

Love this place. GF bun is always a plus. Fries are in a dedicated fryer. Staff is friendly and I've never gotten sick. They note on the ticket to have the grill wash hands/change gloves.

Gluten free buns, employees even let us check the ingredients on the Cajun seasoning. Both my daughter and husband are Celiac and neither got sick. The food was overall pretty good. We were actually at the one in Normal, but couldn't find that location in the app.
Yes
Very knowledgeable and careful. No GF buns, so we brought our own.

They are very knowledgeable and helpful here! The manager is always by the front counter ready to help with anything you need. Their fries are made in a dedicated fryer. We eat our burgers on lettuce and have never had any issues after eating here!

This place was amazing. The manager and staff are very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure everything was safe. They even opened a new ketchup to make sure there was no cross contamination!! The fries are gf too! They were awesome and the food is delicious!
Yes
The people who worked there are super knowledgeable about what food contains gluten and what does not! They automatically adjusted the rest of my order and not just the burger to make sure it was safe to eat! They offer all of their sandwiches and burgers in lettuce wraps and they are great!
Yes
Marked gluten allergy on my burger ticket - fries and dipping sauces were great (we had cheese and bacon ranch). No gluten free buns, but they make up for it!
Yes
Fries and chicken nuggets are fried in seperate friers so there is no cross contamination. No GF buns but their grill is only for the burgers. Only oil, no butter on them. They will do a lettuce wrap.
SO TASTY AND REALLY UNDERSTOOD MY CELIAC DIET THEY REALLY CARED! 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
I always have a great experience here! The staff are pretty knowledgable and if not, they don't hesitate to ask management or look in their binder. They NEVER make me feel bad for being a little different. 😉 Only thing that would make this place better is to have gf buns. Always friendly staff and good food.
Yes
great service and knowledgeable about gluten. my recently diagnosed son was able to get the little meathead meal with fries (no bun) and he didn't get sick. so great to be able to take the whole family out to eat

This has become one of our family favorites when we're in Normal. I love that I can eat the fries!!!! The burger is a usual "no bun" option, but still tastes good.

staff took extra care to assure me that my meal would be prepared safely. Kitchen staff washed their hands and changed gloves each time they touched my order . awesome service!
Yes
Fresh cut fries and burgers without the bun are all gf safe. I think the cheese sauce for fries may have gluten because I break out in a rash (my normal 1st symptom) after eating it, which is sad because it is so delicious.

The manager was very accommodating when I asked to see allergen info, and was actual excited to help me when he heard I was GF. He made sure to point out the separate fryers for the fries and was ready to answer any questions I had. The cashier was also knowledgeable and flagged my order as a gluten allergy. The manager brought out our food personally and told us that the cooks made sure to wash their hands and change gloves before preparing my food.
The did wrap my burger in lettuce, but it was so juicy and sloppy (a good thing!) that I ended up eating it with a fork and knife.
If they had GF buns they would be perfect, but all in all a great experience.

Awesome experience. Christian took our order and understood exactly what I needed as a person with Celiac. Delicious burger and fries, felt safe, and would definitely come back if we ever travel through the area again. Many thanks!

The #1 problem seems to be that they insist on toasting all the damned buns on their grill. Thus, even the meat can be cross-contaminated even if you don't order a bun. The Udi's buns are fine of course, except those also get toasted on the same grill as everything else. The other issue is it depends which manager is on duty how careful or not they are. Most of the cook staff are workers with little training.
We have eaten here quite a few times, but occasionally been noticably contaminated. The order-taking staff are usually very good about GF and will mark the order as "gluten allergy" but that doesn't matter a lot with the above problems.

They are very knowledgeable and understood my concerns. I had a burger and fries with a gluten free bun. No issues. I get sick very easily with CC. I was nervous as crap but it was delicious and it had been forever since I had French fries that I didn’t make myself.

Been glutened multiple times here (i know). Multiple times found hair in food. And what’s worse, they toast the buns on the meat grill and don’t really clean in between even when you ask. They only know gluten allergy and don’t understand celiac

My sister & I enjoyed a late dinner as we traveled east. Both need gluten free and we're assured would not be a problem. We had hamburgers on tasty GF buns. French fries are cut fresh daily and have a designated frier. They serve shakes versus malts. All very good and no adverse reactions. Clean and wonderful service.
