I went to Medicine Bakery on a recommendation but sadly there was only 1 main and two sides on the menu that could be made gluten free and they were both a little disappointing. The staff member who took the order wasn’t particularly friendly and when the food was delivered it wasn’t announced as the gluten free option which is always a pain as it feels awkward to then ask. The bakery is a really beautiful place with some truly delicious looking food and baked goods and I’m sad that the gluten free experience was so limited and didn’t include any baked items or even alternative bread. Would love to see this place put the effort in!

Medicine were SO accommodating to my needs as a celiac. They call out all their gf options on the menu & easily let me choose a bunch of things from the ‘sides / add on’s’ section of the menu to compile my own breakfast & were accommodating to my request to take care with preparation etc to limit any cross contamination.
Primarily, Medicine is a bakery and they offer 3 different options for gf cake (the matcha one is AMAZING). Which is super refreshing and meant I had the same experience as my other friends.
Worth noting, there would be risk of cross-contamination with the cakes as they are all displayed in the same area of the restaurant, however the GF ones are kept on a separate platter and slightly away from the other baked goods.
Make sure to mention you are celiac & they will take extra care 😊
