Medieval Restaurant Olde Hansa

Our server was attentive to my gluten-free needs but I didn’t have a ton of options. Sesame crackers used to replace bread were overpowering in flavor, making it difficult to truly sample the spinach hummus or cheese. Duck was tasty, salmon was meh. The rose pudding was delightful, though!

I highly recommend not going here, lots of cross contamination. I went with a big group and just sat there, didn’t eat anything and they still charged us 55€ for me because they had prepared enough food for our whole party. Angry doesn’t even start to describe how I feel. I didn’t feel comfortable eating the food with the chance of feeling sick since it was a big shared meal. I would have given this place no stars if I had been able to.

Arrived and stated we were gf - response was we should find another restaurant! We persevered though- had pork, sauerkraut and lentils. Not the greatest but the ambiance was amazing!

They spoke English and knew which options were gf. Had a yummy meat salad and chicken legs.
