Review of Mediterranea Restaurant & Bakery

We are a celiac family. We were visiting from California and we found Mediterranea. We choose to eat at only dedicated gluten free restaurants. Unless you have celiac disease or NCGS, you can not imagine the how delightful it is to be assured that you will not get sick from a gluten exposure. No grilling the manager or wait staff or worrying about getting ill for the next few months.

The food was outstanding. Within one bite, my husband stated that we would be back because not only was it gluten free and safe for us, but the food really was excellent. Our non-celiac kid was happy with her choice and dessert as well.

We met the owners and one of them has celiac disease. So, you can be assured that the food is really gluten free and fresh. The restaurant is full service with a full bar. The building was charming. The kind of place you can actually have a decent conversation without yelling. We walked out with a few gluten free baked items too.

Wish I could give them more than five stars!
