Best gluten free bun ever!!! Fantastic service and soooo many options!
Had a great experience eating at this restaurant. Staff were super friendly and very aware of allergens/risks of cross contamination etc. and how to manage this.
The menu is very clear re. allergens and everything is vegan & gluten free unless strictly stated otherwise. The staff are happy to answer any questions and advise if you're unsure.
The staff were very kind and understanding. I had a beyond Burger and fries and a salad with a nice little vinaigrette dressing. Everything was tasty and I did not get sick. I have celiac disease and must be careful because I react so violently. I am so glad that I saw the other reviews and that's why I tried this restaurant. When in Vancouver. Again, I will certainly stop in for a meal.
Great experience the many times I’ve been here, they have clear labels on their menu of what is gluten free and what few items on the menu have gluten in them. The servers are great when I mention being celiac and they verify it’s celiac safe. I have had amazing food here, their poutines are amazing.
They have strict GF safety protocols and will take into consideration whether you are celiac, NCGS, or just avoiding gluten for whatever reason. I'm Celiac and react to cross contact. This is one of the only shared kitchens I trust without anxiety! My favorite things to order are the poutines.
Everything is gluten-free unless marked, even then it can be adjusted. Just inform your server over allergy vs preference. 10/10 - get the “Kalamari”
Really knowledgeable staff, dedicated space and fryer for GF and the manager will bring out your meal! Amazing service
My Favourite place to get veggie burgers and fries. The bowls are incredible as well
Lovely vibe
This is a very unique place in Gastown. We saw it on various tourist sites so decided to check it out. It took 20 minutes before someone came to our table, and the food itself took an extremely long time (which, in isolation of itself, is no big deal). GF options were marked on the menu, but they were out of GF bread and therefore had limited options. We had a "lettuce wrap" (two pieces of lettuce laid on either side of our "burger"). And, apparently the burger meat itself isn't gluten free, because we were given corn/black bean veggie burgers (without knowing beforehand). Everything ended up being ok at best - it's uniqueness wasn't enough to salvage the product, we left knowing we'd never go back.*states on the menu that there is a high risk for cross contamination. We saw this after we committed to ordering so went with it. The server did ask us to specify our preference for GF (allergy vs sensitivity vs preference) totally unnecessary but I think he actually took it seriously as my husband is sensitive and did not get sick.
