Celiac friendly and so delicious! I always remind the waiter to have the kitchen change gloves, use clean kitchen equipment, fresh pans, etc, and they did a great job. Ordered the Western omelette and asked for gluten-free toast (I asked them to not toast it if they did not have a dedicated GF toaster). Not a ton of GF options but was safe with what I ordered.
I enjoy going to Melanie’s a lot! I’ve been a few times over the past two years and enjoyed everything I’ve tried. Gf toast is pretty good but my favorite are the loaded home fries. Safe fryer so a lot of the menu is available. Small kitchen so they warn about cc but I’ve always told them to mark as an allergy and I’ve never been sick or noticed gluten traces on my plate.
Got sick from ‘rice toast’, ham, tomato, and mushroom. Not recommended for celiacs unless getting fruit bowl.
Found a lovely little eatery with some serious GF and vegan/veggie options. Getting a good solid breakfast before finding some trails for the day 🙂. Very small and hard to see / find from street but very eclectic and interesting on the inside. On to the food: I had a special today. Their eggs Benedict over spinach, bacon and GF bread with a chipotle hollandaise. It was a great breakfast.
