went here super excited due to the reviews. Maybe it was just a coincidence but everything we got was not good. It all had no flavor and honestly was over priced for the food and quality. We got the fries with feta. These were undercooked and had no flavor. We also got roasted vegetables that were saved by the balsamic glaze that they brought for me to use. We got a greek salad that was good and has good seasoning. Definitely over rated though. Santorini is hard to find marked gf menus though so that was nice. But honestly everyone knows about gluten free and celiac so if you have time just walk around and ask chances are there is somewhere that knows about gluten free and celiac.

We had a wonderful dinner here. The servers were knowledgeable and I had a ton of options. Everything was delicious. Not really a sunset place, at least in October. It was blocked by a nearby building.

Great service. Food was good. Great awareness of gluten free intolerance and celiac friendly with also awareness of different allergies. Gluten free products were labeled on the menu. The place has a great view of the entire island.

This was one of the few places in Greece that had gluten free bread. I was so happy to find this place and finally enjoy some of the Grecian dips that require bread! We had a delicious meal here and would have went back if we had more time!

My waitress had a gluten allergy as well so she was very helpful. I had the burrata tomato salad and bolognese pasta. Both were okay.

very disappointed… went here after looking at all the amazing views. The meal started great and the menu was easy to understand. Talked to the waitress she went through all the options and if there would be any cross contamination. When the dessert came (w the same server giving to me) it looked like a yogurt so after a day of traveling and thinking the waiter understood I gave it a try. Immediately I knew I should have asked as it had a thick consistency. The waiter came back over once i called for her and I asked if it was GF and she looked at me and said did you try it and I said yes and she immediately went to the kitchen and came back saying it did have gluten. She was very sorry (and there was an annoying table giving the wait staff issues). I know I should have checked but just thought it was safe. Wasn’t the way I wanted to start my Santorini trip off.

Staff was very aware of precautions and certainly accommodated without any ill reaction. The menu is clearly marked and they serve two types of gluten free bread. We also ordered the smoked eggplant with red pepper as an appetizer, it was delicious. We also ordered mussels and baked chicken drums. All of it was delicious. Unfortunately, they did not have a dessert though. At the end of the meal they brought us a digestif, which was like a spearmint alcohol, not made from grain. This is also an excellent sunset location if you’re on the roof top.

The waitress at Melitini was very helpful in alerting the kitchen about the seriousness of a gluten allergy. The chef took special care to make sure everything was safe. Had the fries and rice/ ground beef rolled in grape leaves and it was very good!

We had a lovely time sitting on the top terrace during our dinner. We had the lamb, shrimp, eggplant dip, and beef ragu - not gf but we only have one person in our family that has celiac. It was all delicious. For dessert we had coconut ice cream with the almond crisp and the orange cake - not gf. Again delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Two celiacs ate here without issue. Good food. Frier may not have been dedicated so I advise to ask (the French fries are listed as GF) all GF items are marked on the menu. But still in talk to them about cross-contamination. Reservations needed for upstairs dining.

Allergen marked menu and a very knowledgeable and helpful staff! Ate on the rooftop at sunset and absolutely enjoyed everything. Highly recommend the lamb tagliata, variety of spreads (with cucumbers), and the chocolate mousse. One of my favorite meals in Oia.

The food was delicious. Everything that is gluten free is marked on the menu and I even had a great dessert (the almond mastis and ice cream, it was like the inside of a baklava with ice cream), I also had the shrimp saganaki and the lamb sausage, both were delicious. The lamb sausage was incredibly flavorful. Apparently they usually have gf pita/gyro bread but they had a very busy night the night before so didn’t have it when I went. They were super knowledgeable about gf and were very reassuring and heard them mention to someone “allergy.”

Hands down, this was the best food we have had on Santorini. They had gluten free bread, and the kitchen was very knowledgeable of what restrictions we had. Would highly recommend the smoked chicken dish and the lentil dish! Had we been staying in Oia, this would have been a daily trip.

We are here once on our trip and the food was amazing! The menu was labeled with what was gluten free. The waitress wasn’t the most knowledgeable about cross contamination specifically, but was very aware about gluten free. I did just order grilled meat (the lamb sausage and octopus were amazing), but I felt safe and didn’t get sick!

So so so amazing, everything is clearly marked on the menu and the staff was very knowledgeable about gluten and dairy free. The grilled octopus, anchovies and lamb sausage was to DIE for - and their French fries - and gluten free bread. So happy I found this gem!

Tapas restaurant in Oia with lovely rooftop terrace. The menu is clearly marked for gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options, with more than half the options being gluten free.
