Mellow Mushroom

I ate here last night and have a wheat allergy. A little cross contamination never really bothers me, I may get a little itchy. I had a terrible allergic reaction after eating here, there is more than a little cross contamination going on and this needs to be looked into.

My son is Celiac and got sick there last night. He has eaten there before and not gotten sick, but unfortunately something in the cooking process was done differently this time. Manager said they can't prevent cross contamination totally.

I have two favorite gluten free crusts in town and this is one of them. You will love this option if you're gluten free.

Great gluten free pizza at the shelbyville road loc

I was really wanting to like this place. Nice people trying to accommodate GF needs. And the pizza top was pretty good. But the crust was horrible. Very corn-mealy, doughy, too thin, and if you tried to pick it up it just fell apart. Blech. I know there are better recipes out there. Plus I asked for extra mushrooms and I think I got a total of 7 little slices. I mean, it's the name of the place! Way too expensive for pizza I couldn't choke down. The great GF pizza hunt continues.

Pizza was very good.

The worst pizza imaginable. Thick, doughy and just plain disgusting. In addition to the bad pizza, there is not place to park.

Great food - very knowledgable staff - dedicated and separate oven for gluten free pizza. Delish

Much better when eating it in person. I’ve never had a bad experience at any mellow mushroom when dining in, but take-out and delivery is 50/50 depending on the location. Unfortunately, for this location, take-out and delivery should be avoided if you cannot have cross-contact. I’ve had to stop ordering and tell family/friends that while yes, we can eat there, please don’t order it for parties.

Ordered a gluten free pizza and have no complaints whatsoever. Amazing taste, and no symptoms after. Server seemed knowledgeable, etc. honestly one of the better GF pizzas I’ve had. Since it’s a chain, always make sure to ensure your dietary needs.

Great GF pizza and vegan cheese option for the dairy free folk! Everything tastes great and I was assured they made GF food separately. The brownie dessert was good too for a frozen and wrapped treat, it tasted like a Little Debbie’s cosmic brownie!

My favorite GF pizza! We eat here at least once a month and I’ve never been sick from it. GF pizza takes longer of a wait, and that’s the only con I have.

Their GF pizza is always great. I usually get the Mighty Meaty. I’ve never had issues here. They also always have Bold Rock on tap.
