Mellow mushroom has good gluten free pizza but does not do a good job organizing the gluten free completely on the website. I got a gluten free pizza under the gluten sensitive section and scrolled down to the add ons and picked a cookie that was under gluten free next to the gluten free brownie and now I am sick. I would definitely say if you are going to order from here don’t scroll down just go back to the home gluten free page each time so as to avoid mix ups .
My pizza was brought out from another kitchen area and my brownie was packaged. Crust was ok, toppings were great. One of the better and safer seeming pizzas I’ve had out after my diagnoses. Glad to find it while traveling. Website is informative and has a gluten free filter which most restaurants don’t bother to do.
We have always had good luck with Mellow Mushroom!

Great experience! They were super nice and the manager came out and talked to me and made sure that the kitchen staff take all the precautions to avoid cross contamination. The pizza was really good.
The gf pizza was good. I was hoping for a rising crust. It was the regular flat tasteless one. The toppings were great. My non gf family loved the regular pizza . It did look and smell amazing.
They take gluten free serious here! Staff was very knowledgeable. All of our food was prepped in a separate space—they even have a dedicated part of the oven for GF! The wings are oven baked—the cloud 9 ones were phenomenal! The GF pizza was also very good! They even have a GF brownie if you have a sweet tooth. Will definitely be coming back!
Amazing! I called ahead and gave direction on safe protocol to avoid cross-contamination. They put GF pizza in same oven as regular but in separate tray. Delivery arrived at my hotel promptly. The pizza box had the 4-5 safety protocol requested written in the pizza box. Ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. It was the best I’ve had yet. Thin, result crust. Lots of tomato sauce and delicious cheese.
Excellent! No issues with mighty meaty pizza. I order through UberEats, but call store to verify. Always good! I also get no cheese (dairy free. Gluten free).
I really enjoy this. It’s a certified gluten free area and pizza base. Everything is completely separate. I would definitely recommend especially when so many pizza places say they offer gluten free but they slide them in the pizza oven like normal. This one does NOT do this! Very safe!

Second time at a Mellow Mushroom and not as impressed with the pizza as the first time I had it in Atlanta. It was a little under baked. I didn't get sick and still feel comfortable with the entire process and handling of GF food, just underwhelmed by the actual pizza.
They are knowledgeable about cross contamination. My GF/DF kids were super happy. Took awhile to get our food but it was worth it. Very good experience. Great drinks with natural ingredients too.
Was able to get gluten free and dairy free pizza so hubby was happy. He is sensitive to cross contamination and he didn’t get sick or have any reaction.
Delicious gluten-free pizza! The class was good and savory. Had no issues. The service was fast, did curbside pick up.
I was happy to have a gluten free option on our way back to our rental from Gatorland. I also recommend their gluten free brownie (so soft it’s more like cake)!

Bradford was great at making sure nothing was cross-contaminated. From apps to dessert everything was gluten-free and delicious. We ordered the mighty meaty on a gluten-free dough and a bacon and cheese. The dough was thin and crispy and our little guy loved it. For dessert we had a gluten-free brownie and a scoop of ice cream it's not every day that our son can have dessert so he was very excited! He felt completely safe eating here and can't wait to eat here again.
We (I’m Celiac, hubby is intolerant) had the gluten free pizza with the mushroom trio and bacon. The pizza was really good. No issues or reactions as far as my Celiac. The service was seriously lacking. But, it was nice to have pizza that was good while on vacation.
My daughter has Celiac and we've eaten at this location twice this week with no glutened symptoms.
I was in Orlando for a work trip and was in need of a legitimate meal after eating nothing but salads for five meals straight. So I popped open this app and saw the Mellow Mushroom was only 1.5 miles away. So I decided to walk over and I was definitely glad I did.
I ordered the gluten free meaty pizza and requested no beef which they gladly did. Pizza was okay. The toppings were great, but the crust needed a little longer in the oven to be a bit stronger. All-in-all, I would 100% go here again! They were wicked busy so it must be a local favorite spot for non-GF people too.
Service average to poor but Pizza meat lovers on gf crust did not impact me Very few other gf options
We eat at Mello Mushroom where ever we vacation...it is always delicious and I have never had a reaction from the food.
We ordered 2 10" meat pizzas. They only had 3 or 4 pizzas to pick from that could be gluten free, which kinda disappointing. Over all it was not bad, we did have left overs and neither of have felt sick or had any side effects
Enjoyed the BBQ wings and gf pizza with too many choices for toppings!
Have had pizza from this location several times with no problem. Gf is cooked in a dedicated area. Staff is helpful when ordering.
Had a salad and the gluten-free pizza which was good but not my favorite. I was very nervous whether they understood but I did not get sick.
Yummy place to eat if you are around the sea world area and they even have a separate dedicated space for their gluten free stuff.

Good tasty pizza. Hard to find a good pizza place with a separate cooking process for GF. They do charge extra for GF crust and my toppings were a bit sparce for the price I paid. But overall good, and was safe!
Soooo Thankful that Mellow Mushroom exists!! It is so hard to find a good GF pizza 🍕 that is SAFE for Celiacs in Miami, so I take advantage every time we come to Orlando! 😋
Another great experience at Mellow Mushroom! Been to the one in Myrtle Beach and had a great time so came to the one in Orlando. This time had the Veg Out on GF crust. Server, Peggy was fantastic. Told them I was celiac and they said they will prepare accordingly. Was delicious! Definitely will come back.

Staff was familiar with celiac needs and assured me prep was done separately and cooking was done in a separate oven. No issues with illness and delicious food
The staff was educated on Celiac disease. They also marked my ticket as "allergy." I ate at Mellow Mushroom prior to my diagnosis and happy to say I can continue eating my favorite Cosmic Karma pizza again, just on a flatbread. It's still quite delicious. They claimed the dressings were GF too, but I didn't try them.
Ordered the gf pizza, which was delicious, but whomever handled the pizza was not very careful with contamination. I got sick the next day. I was so disappointed because I loved this place before my diagnosis and was hoping to enjoy it again. Not this time.
As of August 1, 2017, all locations changed the size of their GF pizzas. The ONLY size you can order now is a very small personal pizza - what I would describe as a kid's pizza. Despite this change, my pizza was nearly $16, plus an additional $4 for vegan cheese. Although the pizza is tasty, I don't know anyone who would be ok paying these prices for a teeny tiny pizza. Very disappointing.
some of the best gf pizza I have ever had!! been here multiple times and have never gotten sick. this place is amazing!!!!

Extremely pleased! We ordered take out -!My non gf son ordered a small pizza and I ordered the gf veg pizza. When we picked up the pizza left w a large and small box/ my son said the large was mine... Couldn't be, he must've missed heard.... Nope! He was right the gf was the bigger pizza! Thin crust but larger diameter than you typical gf. I'm eating it now, and it tastes delicious. I feel 99.9% confident this is safe for Celiacs- of course I'll modify this post if anything changes tonight!
ordered to go, bar tender took great care of us. made sure to let kitchen know of my celiac and dairy allergy. had a gluten/dairy free pizza with mushrooms, onions, olives, bacon and sausage. was absolutely delicious and I didn't get sick. was made in a dedicated area and boxed on it's own. the gluten free crust was the best I have had.
Thank you everyone who reviewed this restaurant! We don't have one in Colorado - (we have Beau Joe's) - yes it's expensive (like most GF) but soooooooo good! I like thin & crispy and they cooked mine extra long for me!

GF pizza. They may have changed the crust not sure 1/12/2025. Was there and got glutened. 3 hours after eating terrible heartburn then vomited. Would not recommend again
We ordered the GF pizza and the manager brought it out separately a regular gluten filled pizza. Thought it was the GF one and ate 3 bites when the server came running over saying it was the wrong one.
Great GF pizza. Our waitress was very helpful. I am Celiac and had no problems!
Ok GF pizza altho not great. Salad was good. Some GF options. Seems to take it seriously.
I’ve eaten at this particular Mellow Mushroom twice and gave not gotten sick. Their gf crust is good and the pizzas were delicious. The waitstaff who I have encountered know the gf options and explained that the gf pizza prep is separate from regular pizza prep. I would eat here again.
