Have tried a few times to get a group of folks into this place. I was finally able to get in for lunch with a friend. Seating was quick. Menu was not helpful at all. Waitress came back only once during our hour-long lunch. I got one glass of water. One. She was able to tell me what I could order. Food was good. But I won’t be back.
The bottom of the menu says ‘gluten free and vegan options available upon request’. Because of previous reviews here, we knew to ask about the cheeseburger. My celiac son had a cheeseburger on gluten free bun and a side salad. The burger was big and he didn’t finish it (he is 10 years old). Waitress was very knowledgeable. Said tater tots are gluten free but would be cooked in a fryer with gluten items ie chicken tenders. We passed.
Came to see the hall of fame, and was easily able to walk from there to Mels at 22. The burger I got was big, juicy, and delicious. Unfortunately there is not a gluten free frier, and the Caesar dressing wasn’t gluten free but the burger was enough. I would highly recommend it specially because they use separate utensils to make your food. The service was very good and would definitely go back.
I was disappointed here. I went here based on reviews and they have a very limited GF menu. They do GF burger buns but that’s it. The rest of the menu is not guaranteed GF and there are no designated fryers so it’s limited.
I can't believe I'm reviewing the same restaurant that has gotten 5-star reviews from 5 other people! I was there on 7/13/18 and asked if they had a GF menu and the waiter told me there is basically nothing on the menu that's GF - he never mentioned these GF burger buns that others have mentioned. He said the best I could do was to order a meat entree completely plain with no sauce, so that's what I did. It was fine and I didn't get sick, but I picked this place on all the great reviews here and was disappointed.
