Be careful and confirm everything. I’ve eaten here quite a few times, but the last time they served me a gluten English muffin.

I got the eggs Benedict which comes with GF toast. When I saw it was on an English muffin, I asked the server and she said it was a GF English muffin. I asked her to check with the kitchen and she came back with a red face and took my plate. Luckily I had paid attention to the menu description and didn’t eat it.

Otherwise I’ve had good experiences, but I haven’t been back.

Why aren’t people screaming about this place?!! So FABULOUS! They have items labelled in their regular menu, but also have a special GF menu! Dairy-free options, too! I cannot remember ever having a cinnamon roll pancake - A MUST TRY!! So delicious!! If you’re in Kitchener, and love an authentic diner, this is THE place!

What a fantastic environment and they were careful about ingredients and equipment cross- contamination. I have wheat, oat, barley, malt, and rye allergies and our hostess took it very seriously. Great food with great staff! Felt 100% comfortable.

We ate here at a very busy time and I was worried that there would be the danger of cross-contamination or mis-handling of orders. I needn't have worried though - as soon as I mentioned that I was celiac it was clear that our server was well versed in GF issues. There is a seperate GF menu available that has a surprisingly large variety of dishes available including an all-day breakfast menu (French toast, skillets, etc). Food is standard diner fare and the server confirmed that our dishes were GF when our orders were delivered.

Great gluten friendly menu. Ordered a skillet and gluten free pancakes. Lots of options - all very good! They did say that they do not have a toaster that is dedicated for gluten free bread though - fyi

What a nostalgic trip. Great GF menu. They do their best to minimize cross contamination. Satisfied my craving for diner food

Love that they have a dedicated gluten free menu. I’ve gone twice now (I live in Alberta & came down to visit occasionally) and did not get sick either time! It seems like staff is very knowledgeable about celiac/cross contamination :)

Our go to breakfast spot. Love the gluten free pancakes!! Can’t go wrong with eggs bacon and pancakes

There wasnt anything on the app that offers gluten free fish and chips in kitchener Ontario so I researched and wanted to add this one.
