I had an amazing experience at this dedicated gluten-free kitchen! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I was thrilled to find freshly made gluten-free bread, which was delicious! The best part? They make their own in-house desserts, and they were absolutely divine. As those of us with Celiac know, it’s hard to trust restaurants when they say they have gluten free options and they’re careful about cross contamination. You always feel like a PAIN in the you know what when you have to confirm “for sure” you’re going to be safe. Thank God for this place. I felt like a regular person going out to eat. In addition to that the food is delicious. I had the tacos of 3 different types. It was delicious and the chips and dip were not greasy and very crunchy. Tater tots were really good and the slaw with pineapple was also delicious. I’m definitely going to go back and I think I’ll just work my way down the menu. I think everything is probably delicious. Also, it’s just clean eating and I feel great about that! The staff was excited about their menu and even gave us a sample dessert which of course was delicious. Go and eat here even if you can have gluten but want clean ingredients. You won’t be disappointed.

The chicken was a little dry for my taste, but the short rib was lovely. And in my opinion the piggie (taco) was the absolute star of the show. friendly staff and quality ingredients.

Mensa is amazing! I love LBI, but it’s hard to find spots that are safe for me and also a good fit for my family. The staff was amazingly friendly and gave us a run down of the food when we came in. 100% gluten free is a dream! All 4 of us loved what we had and will be back many times!

All the food we had was great. My favorite was the Cowie taco. Broccoli slaw was good. I liked the Brussel sprouts as well. Felt like clean and fresh eating. And so great to be a 100% gluten free facility. This may rise to be my favorite place on the island to eat.

We had an amazing time! Everyone was so wonderful, the bread for the sandwiches were delicious and the meat was sooo good. My non gluten free husband loved his food too. The tots are so cute and yummy! I am extremely sensitive and no issues. 10/10

It's so nice having an entire menu to look through. Considering the entire menu is gluten free, it was very easy to trust that this place was safe. I had The Birdie, 3 chicken tacos, and they were delicious. My girlfriend had the braised short rib bowl and she loved it. The food is easily 10/10. We will definitely be going back.

What a great bite! My very celiac fiancé was excited to try Mensa, being a fully GF facility, and he nearly ordered one of everything on the menu! Food was delicious, great options, even offered cashew cheese for those also dairy free. We built our own bowls with rice, veggies, very juicy braised chicken, and topped with chimichurri sauce - highly recommend! Not to mention, the owner is very personable and lovely!

Great spot for a nice healthy lunch. So far I've had the tacos and bowls they were both amazing and the meats were cook perfectly. Everything there is gluten free and as a celiac I can't thank them enough. More people need to be talking about this place!

Just ate here and the food is fantastic. We had the trifecta tacos, sweet tots, kids tacos and BLT. The staff is super knowledgeable and incredibly sweet. This is definitely a great place to stop and grab lunch.

Everything GF now, even the sandwich! Not only is this so great to have a fully gf place, the food is delicious! The braised beef is so good! Veg options were really delicious too! And the people are super nice.

Just about everything is GF. Celiac is in the owner's family. Everything is safe most importantly. But the food is incredible. Some of the best tacos I've ever had. Highly recommend this spot.
Most of menu is GF, easy to accommodate, staff was knowledgeable. If you’re craving good tacos, slightly off-Mexican style, and delicious, hit this up!
Had a great experience while vacationing in beach haven! Tots were delicious and had the trifecta tacos. Everything was fresh and so happy to have a safe place to eat. The chef was great, came to talk to me and reassure me everything ordered was gluten free. Will def be going back on our next trip!
Mensa in Beach Haven Gardens just opened on LBI. Almost the whole menu is gluten free except for the sandwiches. Tots were delicious and made in a dedicated fryer. I had the short rib tacos and Wedge salad which were really good. Staff was great, too. A welcome addition to the island. Can’t wait to go back!
