I love Meril. We try to go every time we are in town. I’ve done both dinner and HH! We had fantastic deviled eggs which are served over top a bed of Zapps chips (gluten free).

Amazing and fun staff! Very knowledgeable. They don’t have a gluten free menu but the staff knew exactly what was gluten free and what could be made gluten free. 100% recommend!

Do not go on a busy night On busy nights, they need a GF menu. The wait staff do not have time to onboard you to what to eat.
— No gluten-free information on the menu
Great food - no gluten free menu - but the waiter was amazing letting us know what we could eat. Highly recommended. All of the pasta dishes can be gluten free.

Don’t trust their menu for gluten free options. Food was only so-so, and overpriced for what you get.

Very good meal. Menu is marked with GF and gf depending on if they have to modify the meal. But ask questions. They don’t have a separate fryer. Waitress was very good about checking on everything for me. We got the baked cheese with cucumbers instead of bread. And I had the steak frites. But subbed Brussels (modified with out the onions) for the frites.

When we arrived I asked the hostess for a GF menu and the were able to provide a menu with the GF items clearly marked. The food and service were exceptional!

They have a separate menu that lists all the gf food. I got the beet salad and the blue crab pasta. The beet salad was delicious but I did not like the pasta. The glutenous pasta was black linguini and I think the sauce might have stuck better to that pasta but the gf pasta was penne pasta and the sauce was so thin and didn’t stick to it so it was like eating plain pasta with crab. It was also very expensive. However, I did not get sick from eating there

UPDATE: June/2021 I think this was my third or fourth visit. The servers are so great. I noted celiac on the reservation and the server mentioned it so that we could chat before I ordered. They are fully aware of cross-contamination also.
OLD REVIEW FOLLOWS:
They handled every bit of the meal. I told them I had celiac and the server took over. He made excellent suggestions and went to kitchen to ask about an item to be sure.
Top notch service and staff!! I have great luck at all of Emeril’s restaurants. We will definitely be back next time we visit NOLA!

What a FUN spot! Service was good, can be a little loud at peak dinner hour, but we had a wonderful meal here with friends. Highlight of the many shared plates was the smithed whitefish dip served with cucumber slices and the brussel sprouts! Key lime creme brûlée for dessert was excellent as well.
Yes
Overpriced, and too busy and crowded to be safe for celiacs. The menu does list gluten free items, which is nice, but the kitchen was slammed and I got glutened. I ordered deviled eggs as an appetizer (11 bucks) and got two tiny eggs the size of robin eggs. They were covered in broken egg shells. 👎🏼 I also order Chicken under a Brick. It was very tender. Fried items are listed on the menu. I didn’t ask if they had a dedicated fryer, but I highly doubt it.
No
I ordered the burger with a gluten free bun and was brought out a piece of meat topped with a piece of iceburg lettuce. I told my waiter I have a food allergy and at no point did he explain to me that they don't have gf bread, they just omit the regular bread. the French fries are labeled gf but they DO NOT have a dedicated fryer (took my waiter ten minutes to figure that out). the piece of meat was good but I expected to get sick from cross contamination. seems more of a "trendy" gf menu than a celiac friendly menu.
edit: definitely sick from cc.

They have a gluten free menu. I also have other allergies and they were able to accommodate me. I had the smoked duck salad and carrots which they adjusted for my allergies. Very good!
Awesome gluten free menu on request.
Wait staff was knowledgeable and food tasty but their kitchen was slammed and I was sick after eating from cc.

So amazing. Menu clearly marked with both GF and "can be made GF", for instance, salad w fried chicken was made w grilled chicken.
Our table of four kept saying how good their food and drink were and how I had made a good choice!
Yes
Great food, menu clearly marked. Did I mention that the food was great?
This place was AWESOME! Friendly staff, great atmosphere and most importantly, yummy GF food. They have a separate menu you have to ask for that has all the GF times marked. I had artichoke and mezuna salad, mushroom pasta and salted caramel ices cream with candied bacon. My mouth is watering just remembering it!!!!
Yes
Staff was excellent. Gluten free menu marked with items already gluten free and things that could be made gluten free. No dedicated fryer but lots of other good options.

Very celiac friendly, by default. Incredibly tasty, authentic and sophisticated food at unbelievably reasonable prices. Go!!!
Say at the bar and had excellent gf pasta (cooked in fresh water) and Brussels sprouts. Great service.

Amazing food. They have a glenn free menu, the drinks are great & they play great music.

Wonderful gluten free menu with delicious options. Highly recommend.
Yes
Food was barely warm, extremely small portions, no dedicated fryer so less options than advertised for celiac. Wouldn't go back.
Food was good! No reactions, I did the hanger steak and a side of mushrooms.
Lots of different gluten free options! Our server was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed sharing a couple of dishes and then had one of our own (my husband does not have to eat gluten free). This was a nice find for Sunday brunch. It was very good.
Yes
Excellent food. Avoid the fried foods, but everything else is fair game. They will even boil gf pasta separately.
Yes
The food is great and the staff always knowledgeable or willing to ask. One issue is that some GF labeled options are made in shared friers—so definitely ask about everything first. Even though this limits options, there is still good food to choose from.
