Review of Merlin's Pizza

Besides the delicious GF pizza (crust from Venice Bakery), Merlin’s Pizza is everything I want a pizza place to be. It’s tucked in a non-descript strip center. It’s locally owned. It has cozy booths and tables. They play classic rock. The service is friendly and knowledgeable.

I had a Caesar salad and a GF pepperoni pizza. The romaine in the Caesar was fresh and crisp. The dressing was Ken’s, which is not the best but not bad. As for the pizza - the cheese, sauce, and pepperoni were all good quality and delicious. The crust was terrific. Crisp on the bottom and chewy in the right places. It’s served in a tray with a bumpy bottom, which I think helps keep it crisp.

I would seriously consider moving to Destin just to eat here.
