No dedicated GF menu, so we asked our server. She said the menu was 90% GF and that we really only need to avoid the Boudin Azteca entrees, the brussels sprouts, and anything with mole sauce. Then they brought us a basket of chips, but she said they don't have a dedicated fryer and that they're cooked in the same fryer as poblano peppers. She did offer to bring us corn tortillas instead of the chips, so we had then remove the chips from the table. My GF daughter ordered the carne tacos, which should have been fine and our server said she'd double-check everything with the chef. She also confirmed that gluten was the only thing we needed to avoid, which it was. Our food arrived several minutes before our daughter's, and when hers finally arrived, they had deconstructed the tacos: she had just corn tortillas with steak, with shredded lettuce and tomatoes on a separate plate. Missing was the queso fresco (which the server said they'd left off because it was dairy, which we'd already told them was ok for us), the pickled red onions (which she said marinated in "something suspicious") and the avocado crema salsa (which she said was too spicy for my daughter). We asked them to bring the queso fresco and the salsa, which they did. So somehow a 90% GF menu turned into something substantially less than 90%; there are still lots of GF choices but not offering GF chips started to alter the Mexican-restaurant experience for the whole table. Ask lots of questions, because the menu is not marked and what our server initially told us was different from what the kitchen said. Our server was trying to be really helpful and careful, but unlike some places where you feel cared for and safe because they work with you throughout (see my review of Sushi Lovers), here my daughter felt patronized and singled out (not to mention guilty that none of us chose to eat the chips they'd brought when we discovered she couldn't eat them).
