I called ahead and they said they had lots of GF options besides salad. Great! My big thing with Mexican restaurants is making sure the tortillas have a dedicated fryer so I can eat their chips. The waitress told me her mom has celiac and easily went through the precautions they take, which I truly appreciated. I ordered the nachos w/ smoked chicken. I didn’t get sick🙌🏻…. But the nachos definitely weren’t the best 😬🤷🏻‍♀ sooooo probably get tacos 👍🏻

I called ahead of time to ask if they cater to Celiac and allergies. The lady told me yes absolutely. That they do gf and dF. To make sure I told the waiter and we would be taken care of. I explained that my son and I are celiac and he has a dairy allergy and I have a soy allergy. First red flag the waitress was like, what’s soy? Than I explained my son and I cannot have gluten at all and is there cross contamination. I was told again no problem. I order shrimp tacos on lettuce wrap. I was brought by a different waiter shrimp tacos that are breaded. I asked again are these gf. He said yes. I asked what kind of flour was used, he said he didn’t know, probably white flour. Can you see the trend. They brought me back grilled ones. I think they just traded out the shrimp. I will say they were good but shortly after we ate the pain started. My son who got plain nachos with nothing but chips and meat said his stomach hurt as well. It was a rough night. Their good intentions put are health at risk. it’s places like this that are the problem, either you’re truly safe or you’re not. They do NOT cater to people with true allergies or Celiac as they told me over the phone and in person.
