Some gluten free options. Food was way overpriced and not 1 of our 10 people at our table like their food.
The food was absolutely amazing. I had grilled octopus, gf homemade bread, and amazing gf homemade pasta. All their sauces are gf. I'm not sure what precautions they take but they understood I needed gf. I'm pretty sensitive and I didn't get sick. Service was excellent. I'll definitely be back.
Stopping here is a must! We enjoyed a safe and delicious meal that included fresh gluten-free pasta and bread. The flourless cake was also delicious!

This is the best restaurant in Monterey County, AND I never get sick. Award-winning Chef Soerke makes homemade GF Pasta in-house! GF bread in-house! This is a celiac’s dream come true. Certified Executive Chefs like Soerke are fully versed in avoiding cross contamination. You are safe here.
This is a must try spot! They have excellent gluten free bread for the table. Our server was very knowledgeable and told us any pasta other than the lasagna, ravioli, and gnocchis could be made gluten free. There were about 5-7 pasta options excluding those. I ordered the carbonara which was substituted with GF penne pasta. We had excellent service and would love to go back if we lived in the area.
Was excited to try this based on pass reviews but our waiter was not knowledgeable and stated all the GF pasta was made in the same kitchen space and cross contamination couldn't be avoided for the pasta dishes (almost the entire menu) we stuck to appetizers and mozzarella and did not get any sort of after reaction but did not feel safe eating most of the menu items.
I had an incredible experience here. When I arrived and mentioned I was gluten free she brought out gluten free bread for the table and told me it is made fresh in house and was familiar with celiac. I ordered an app that comes with crostini and instead brought more GF bread. It was really good. I had a gluten free pasta dish and their GF pasta is also made in house. The server was very knowledgeable and friendly and I had no after reaction.
I had a great experience at Mezzaluna! This is a charming neighborhood restaurant with high-quality Italian food. They have a large selection of pasta dishes and all of them except the ravioli dishes can be made GF. The manager of the restaurant told me all their GF pastas are made fresh in-house. The chef and the kitchen staff are very aware of food allergies and are careful to avoid cross-contact. They even have GF bread to serve before your meal!
I felt very safe here and I had a wonderful meal. I dined with my gluten-eating family and we all agreed the food and service were excellent. Mezzaluna is going to become a new regular spot for us.
Our friends brought us here while we were on vacation. They raced about the service and food. I was not disappointed. Started with drinks and gluten free bread which, did not disappoint at all! I had mozzarella and peppers as an appetizer and more drinks. The service was amazing from beginning to end! I thought food service was just never expected to be good but, the staff here exceeded expectations. The chef even came out and oh my god! The Gluten Free pasta was to die for! I couldn’t believe it was GF! I wish we lived closer , I would def be a weekly regular! Hands down 100% a 10 from start to finish
Incredible homemade GF pasta! Available for most dishes. The mushroom dish is a must. The GF bread was delicious, too. Huge treat in the middle of a pandemic.
