Mi Hacienda Mexican Restaurant

This place gives me mixed signals so proceed with caution. Their chips and salsa are definitely gluten free as I’ve triple checked and eaten them and never had an issue. However, the rest of the menu is not as easy. The items without gluten in them may do well for gluten free non celiacs, however for us avoiding cross contact folks it’s a challenge. I’ve gotten sick here twice now even when I order lettuce wrap tacos, or a nacho plate. The servers as well as the kitchen staff seem to have very limited knowledge of celiac so if you are not explicit and ask to speak to someone in charge, I’d skip this stop unless you’re just in it for the apps.
