Came here for dinner. The atmosphere and drink menu were really great. The gluten-free options less so. They have GF things marked on the menu, but as many have said, the fryer is not GF, and they don’t offer an alternative (like pan-frying) if are sensitive to cross-contamination. The menu becomes quite limited, though they do have GF bread. I’ll give points for general awareness of celiac/allergies/cross-contamination. I had a zucchini dish that wasn’t my first choice, but it was pretty good. Just be aware that most GF things on the menu aren’t celiac-safe!
I’ve eaten at both Fishtown and Gayborhood locations — didn’t get sick and the sandwiches are really really delicious! (Never thought I’d say that about GF bread.) They’re really careful if you ask them to be. The cashier at the Fishtown location also mentioned that the owner (or someone in management, I can’t remember) has celiac and totally gets it. 😊
My egg & cheese breakfast sandwich was delicious. Their gf bread is almost biscuit like—I loved it! They seem super conscious of cros contamination safety and even make note that their fryer is not gf—so sadly I didn’t get to try their hash browns. Staff is awesome too and I felt great (but sleepy!) after eating.
