Lots of gluten free options! Hard to ask about contamination because you order at the front, but it was fine.

the pastries, desserts, and smoothie were AMAZING - the actual food (shoji bowl and turkey cranberry sandwich) was just okay; I’m not sure if we just picked some not-so-great options or if that’s a reflection of it all. The flavor combinations of the lunches should’ve been great but they were just lacking - however I still recommend coming and trying for yourself! The pastries and smoothie alone are worth the trip.

Wait time On food will Be unreasonably long usually. However: the gluten free cookies and cupcakes and other treats they have are absolutely the best in town. They have different GF treats whenever we go. I love their selection. If only other places had such amazing gf treats. Not sure about their food options. Their matcha latte and coffee are just bomb.

Middle Way Cafe has a number of Gluten free menu items. I have had their Greek salad, soup of the day, quiche, muffins, cookies and dessert bars. They offer cold pressed juice and smoothies. I have eaten here many times with no problem and I have celiac.

Plenty of options and food was delicious. Will note that I asked for it to be made gluten free and then the receipt specifically said “no allergies” so I guess just make sure to communicate with them very clearly.

The girl we talked to at the front counter wasn’t super familiar with celiac but she listened to our explanation and took careful notes for the kitchen about cross contamination and gluten free. I didn’t have any problems afterwards so it must have worked!

Staff was not sure about cross contamination protocol or ingredients in food. Had no idea what celiac was. Got 2 poached eggs and fruit to be safe.

Staff was knowledgeable about dietary restrictions in general- several bakery options offered both gluten free and dairy free. Many many gf breakfast choices, great smoothie selections
Yes
Amazing breakfast and gluten free baked goods. The recipes have all been revamped since the negative reviewer commented about having to throw them away.
Best gf breakfast ever. Great place.
The muffins and cupcakes are moist and delicious. GF toast is fabulous but a $2 up charge for one slice. Great place to east and be safe
Ordered choc-chip cookie, pumpkin cupcake & cinnamon-pecan muffin. The muffin was fine, the other two items were so bad, I threw them away.
The GF/vegan cupcakes are fabulous! The new GF bread is super delicious and makes the best sandwich I have had i.n a long time
The sandwich and smoothie were fresh and delicious, but the only gluten free sandwich option was a lettuce wrap.
Salads are gf. I have celiac and had a good lunch here.
Yes
The kitchen staff was rude, it was not child friendly, the wifi did not work and I am now suffering the effects of being glutened, as is my 2 year old and my mother. They are not celiac friendly and advertise that they avoid cross contamination but cannot guarantee it on their menu,I should have heeded their warning.
No
Love their GF chocolate chip cookie, GF food options and coffee.
Great food! Very friendly staff! And gluten free cupcakes! Yes, please!
Not a dedicated menu but does take the time to make a GF option.
When you can get the gluten-free goodies they are delicious! They sell out pretty fast though so its good to go when they first open. They are typically gluten-free and vegan as well so if you have egg or dairy allergies its nice. I love the vegetable juices they make fresh too!
