My first question was if the char-grilled oysters were gluten free bc at most places they are gluten free. The bartender quickly said no. He gave me a gluten free menu and for an appetizer I decided on the bacon wrapped shrimp. It’s only gluten-free if you order without the Apple glaze I’m assuming the bartender didn’t make that gluten-free note and it came out with the Apple glaze. I returned it to the kitchen and they made another without. Once we got to our table, I also notified the waiter I had Celiac. I’m assuming he didn’t make note of the gluten-free either because my salad came out with croutons and my main dish came out with garlic bread on top of it. So all of my food had to be returned to the kitchen and re made. I suggest if you do have Celiac stress to make a note of gluten-free.

The quality of food was ok. The bacon wrapped shrimp lacked flavor, but were good. The Joliet Rouge is what I ordered. The drum was a little overcooked but the flavor was good and for a side I got the sweet potato fries. For dessert I ordered the Creme Brûlée and I honestly have to say that was the worst I’ve eaten.

The best part of my meal I have to say was the sweet potato fries.

The waiter was super sweet and patient with me (at least to my face...🤣). I would definitely eat here again but definitely order a different main course, skip the appetizer and dessert.
