Products are in the same case underneath baked goods with gluten. Easily cross contaminated

The staff was knowledgeable about their products. They list Whoopi’s pies and black and white cookies with gf options. They are in a separate case. They are not prepared in a gf kitchen. I had the gf black and white cookie and was fine. I have celiac.
Mikes has the best gluten free black and white cookies. I wish they had gluten free cannolis.
Looked awesome and got excited I would have a Whoopi Pie for the first time in my life but then the person at the counter told me I should have said that I am 'allergic' and it's not Celiac friendly. It's cross contaminated and made in the same Baker as the normal pastries.

Gluten free items change. We had a black and white cookie and a Nutella Whoopie pie. The whoopie pie cake part was a little dry, but both items still delicious.
I purchase the gluten free black and white cookies and they are delicious. The cookie is soft with a great vanilla and chocolate frosting. I visit everytime I visit Boston
Yes
Gluten free black and white cookie and Whoopie pie we were great.
Two good gf options. No gf and vegan one's though. Overpriced but still good if you want a little sweet dessert.
No
Only two options for gluten free- black and white cookies and chocolate chip cookies which they were out of. Black and white cookies tasted good but hey kept them in with all of the other pastries and didn't try to keep cross contamination down.
Everyone else loves this spot, a total staple in the north end but it’s not great for celiacs. Better off going to Modern Pastry across the street and getting a gf cannoli
Went in for gluten free options. A whoopie pie and black and white cookie. I wouldn't trust them though. Gluten free in the same case as gluten containing desserts. No separation nor were they wrapped.

Had two options for GF: black and white cookies or whoopie pies. They were both out. Even if they weren't though I wouldn't have gotten them since they were in the bottom shelf with regular pastries (gluten would've rained down on them....). No celiac friendly
Gluten free baked goods in same case as regular pastries

Did not enjoy their GF whoopie pie. Probably the worst I've ever tasted. Dry, dry and dry.
Yes
very busy when we went in, and the gluten free black & white cookies were not labeled, but upon asking, we were told that they were gf. it hit the spot. two options: whoopie pie (all out when we went) and black and white cookie.
I got the whoopie pie. I honestly didn't like it. It tasted like chocolate-flavored wet sand. It was huge, reasonably priced, and I wanted to like it, but I couldn't get past the texture. I could have eaten a bowl of the filling, though!!
Yes
Delicious black and white cookies!

Loved the macaroons ! The pistachio was the best! The only reason I'm not giving Mikes 5 stars is because I really wish they did a GF cannoli :) !
Gluten free whoopie pie was huge and delicious. Put it in the freezer and had it the next day. The real winner was the black and white cookie. Like a frosted dense piece of heaven.
Mike's is a North End tradition. We bring everyone here when they are new to the area. After being diagnosed with gluten allergies I thought my options would be limited. Mike's now has gluten free black and white cookies, almond macaroons, creme brûlée, and ice cream. So now more options to enjoy with your coffee.
Awesome big white and black pastry and amazing crème brûlée! Highly recommend trying it
