I do trust this restaurant when I’m there in person, but I don’t trust it for delivery. I always make sure to ask lots of questions and clearly tell the server that I am allergic to gluten - I don’t just order anything with a gf label on the menu. I generally get the same thing (enchiladas) because based on the questions I’ve asked that seems the least likely to be cross contaminated. I’ve never gotten sick from eating here, but I’m still cautious because they aren’t a dedicated gf place and they have tons of gluten containing items on the menu.
I absolutely loved this restaurant for forever prior to Covid. We would go every week and never got sick.. they have updated the menu to include gluten free options, however this evening (and prior times) both the chips and salsa and tacos came back positive for gluten on my Nima tester. I won’t be going back
Update: I ate there on July 22. Their menu is no longer clearly labeled. They assured me that they still had safe food preparation when I asked. They don’t though. I was severely glutened. Won’t be going here again.
I ate here when I was first diagnosed. Good food and clearly labeled.
Very busy. Make a reservation!
Gluten free/dairy free options! Did not make me sick and was super yummy! Highly recommended :)
I called ahead and they said they cook all their gluten free items separately, including the chips. Wow! The food is so tasty and fresh. I ordered Enchiladas Suiza and my husband ordered carnitas. You can really tell they use locally-sourced ingredients, especially the delicious salsa trio. Definitely make a reservation online before you go, we went on a Thursday night and still had to wait about 10 minutes past our reservation time and parking is a little sparse.
Manager came over to introduce herself and ensure care would be taken to keep my food safe. Everything was delicious! Had the salsa trio ap and three tacos. Guacamole was fantastic.
Almost everything on the menu is GF except the mole sauce and tortilla chips. Authentic and high end Mexican food. Even the albondigas (meatballs) are GF! I highly recommend it!
