It says on their website items are not prepared in a gluten free environment, after reading more I think I’ll pass as bad as I’d like to try it!

This first visit will be followed by many more. What a treat to eat a grilled cheese on delicious GF bread baked at a local bakery. The fries are cooked in a dedicated fryer also used for the tater tots-I was told the tots are GF as well. They also offer blackboard Grilled Cheese and Salad specials. Well worth a trip to Rittenhouse for a tasty GF meal.

It took more question asking than I would've hoped, but I got the woman working the register to ask her boss if the fryer was dedicated gluten free and she finally did. Fryer is dedicated as they have no friend items with gluten to contaminate. Good food, but the staff I worked with wasn't as helpful as she should've been given I was the only one there.

I have yet to visit Milkhouse but I had contacted them and left a message asking about GF items and someone called me back later and was VERY knowledgeable about GF foods and explained their GF menu in detail. She mentioned a dedicated fryer which is rare. I will have to try them soon!

Not celiac friendly. Expect cross contamination with shakes and sandwiches. Not the best shake I've had either.

Staff was not that knowledgeable and there are no gluten free cones. All Ice cream flavor a but three have gluten. Also when asked about Salads she starred at me like was nuts even though they had croutons listed. Staff does not make you feel reassured

Yum! Definite comfort food! Several different grilled cheese options to choose from. We tried several. They were all yummy. Creamy tomato soup and even chicken noodle soup, both delish. All the french fry options are GF. The dipping sauces are all GF as well. I believe everything can be made GF. The Mac and cheese does not say GF on the menu, but we asked. It was no problem. We will definitely be back!!

Visiting from MN and waited a long time for a real cheesesteak sandwich. This place is delicious. Small and busy, but worth the wait if you have to. Waitstaff put GF items separate from items w gluten and then double checked w us to make sure our other daughter (who ordered regular Mac and cheese) didn't need gf. I wish we were in town long enough to eat here twice!

What a great place and a very nice family running it. The owners son has celiac so the take being GF seriously. I had the best GF sandwich I have ever had, I never thought I would get to enjoy a Philly Cheesesteak again, but Milkhouse made it happen. Also had a strawberry thick shake that was out of this world. Thanks for he great meal.
