Came here twice and had one takeout order. First time for dinner and the waiter didn’t have a menu for me, but told me the Tuscan/ rustic chicken option was totally gluten free. I also got the crème brûlée. I did not get sick. Next time I went there was for brunch. I was given an allergy menu. It said roasted potatoes, but the waitress said the potatoes were actually fried and they weren’t safe. Glad I asked how they were cooked! I ended up ordering the chicken dish I had ordered previously as I knew I would like it and not get sick. Third was the takeout order. Got eggs, bacon, and steamed potatoes that could have been done a bit more, but were still okay. I did not get sick.
I was really excited to eat her based on reviews from others. The moment I asked for a gf menu, the server's attitude towards me changed and she was no longer friendly. Apart from feeling like I was an inconvenience to the server, the manager brought out my meal and ensured it was gluten free. The smoked salmon omelette I had was delicious. The gf menu states roasted potatoes as the side, but to keep it gf, they did steamed potatoes and they were under cooked. But the omelette made up for it. I was disappointed by the treatment from the server, but overall enjoyed the food.
We had a great experience here and ate here 3 times over the week. Even delivery worked well!
They have a dedicated area of the kitchen where they prepare 5 types of pizza on a cauliflower crust. They offer a decent variety of options from the dedicated kitchen and the pizza was very, very tasty!!!
GF salad options are available but come from the main kitchen so cross contact is probable. Other celiacs in our party had no trouble with this.
Are here with no issues. Had gf bread which was toasted separately. Steak and mashed potatoes were gf. As was the grilled chicken. Staff were accommodating and easy place to eat.
Excellent! They have a gf menu and their server worked with me to create a great meal at great price. No reactions, just good food in my belly! What a relief it is, to five a reliable place while on vacation. I’m grateful and so is my gut 😊 I came back and ordered the smoked salmon omelette without the sour cream or roasted potatoes; they offered me different sides and didn’t charge more. Happy camper 😋
This is the 2nd time I’ve been here and it’s ok. They do have a gluten free menu but it’s outdated (2019). They have a gluten free bread for an up charge. The server was knowledgeable enough.. last time I had the baked Brie without crackers (I love cheese!). This time I had the chicken pesto sandwich in GF bread. Not bad but not amazing either.
I tend to get a salad when I go, but the owner is often there and will go above and beyond to get your order safe. He did say that their gluten free menu is outdated, but then he handed me a regular menu and was willing to make me just about anything gluten free that he could. He asked about a million questions the first few times I went to make sure he got it right (which I appreciate greatly)! Now I get basically the same thing every time, but we know it’ll always be safe! Note: it’s SO busy at breakfast/lunch and practically empty at dinner time.
Minis cafe offers plenty of regular options for those with gluten allergies such as meatloaf, roasted chicken, and all day breakfast. To my surprise Mimi’s Cafe does have gluten free toast for breakfast and although it’s not specified on the menu they do have gluten free French toast upon request. They also have gluten free bread for the French dip. I’m not quite sure how the French onion soup is made but it doesn’t seem to be a problem. Just the toast in the soup but the soup itself is delicious
Very disappointed after reading good reviews. We went for brunch on Sunday. I asked waitress about GF options. She did not offer a menu, she said they don’t have GF bread and so much of their menu has bread or pastries/baked goods for brunch. Not even GF pancakes. Ended up getting side item of eggs and sausage.
