Worth the side trip off the highway! A regular bakery with a huge case of gf items. The owner is gluten free so everything is well made and carefully made. They are frozen so you can't as easily snarf in the car as the guy eating the traditional cannoli in the seat next to you (not speaking from experience or anything!) But the raspberry butterfly cookies are great frozen if you can't wait!

All the GF items are in a separate freezer. I don’t have a GF bakery near me so I stopped here when I was in Scranton. I stocked up on goodies hoping it was good. Best GF goodies I have had since going GF a year ago. Well worth the 40 minute drive. Wouldn’t know it was GF. I am non celiac.

I am the only celiac in my extended family, so when parties are at my house everyone eats GF. I buy all my cakes and pastries at Minooka. Everyone raves, and with good reason. It is all delicious. I love when they see me eating the cake and surprised, say “is this cake gluten free?” Yeah! Mic drop. Love Minooka bakery!

The selection is great and the staff is very knowledgeable. Owner’s family has seven celiacs in it so they are serious eaters of the product themselves. Love the Whoopie pies, brownies and cupcakes. And the macrons that are in the fresh cases are gluten free and they are delicious.

Amazing! Great selection of gf baked goods. The lemon meringue pie is awesome. They usually have several different cakes to choose from, such as raspberry lafayette, almond joy, and tandy cake. They also have cookies and cupcakes, sometimes scones and walnut roll. Most of the gf goodies are frozen, but definitely don't taste like they were. They also do custom cakes that are fresh, but you need to order in advance. The chocolate raspberry is awesome, I get it for my bday every year. Non-gf people can't tell that it's gluten free.

Finally made it here after a few visits to Scranton, and it will now be a regular stop when I come out here. The raspberry butterfly cookies are SO good...so soft, and have an amazing texture. I was initially a little sad that the GF options were all frozen, but honestly it makes me feel safer, as they’re completely separate. And my cookies taste totally fresh after letting them thaw! Will definitely be back to try more!

Fantastic bakery options and other frozen food section for gluten free products. Spoke with Bob (part owner) a celiac sufferer himself, and he generously spent much time providing additional info for me. Highly recommend!

I went looking for something to have for/with breakfast. All they had was an assortment of frozen, commercial gf baked goods.

A fairly selection, but I was hoping for something fresh and hot.

I have ordered cakes for many occasion that have been gf and delicious. I have never been sick from here. They also have a case of frozen baked goods and pizza crusts, pie crusts, and a few dinner selections. Cupcakes and raspberry linzer cookies are always fresh when defrosted.

The staff is always friendly and though the choices are limited what they have is delicious.

Awesome bakery!! They also accommodated my lactose allergy. The smallest size cake they have (had it for my birthday cake) is a little large so I would suggest cupcakes instead.

They have gluten free cakes vanilla, chocolate,and marble. They also have cupcakes, deluxe cupcakes, cookies, and pumpkin pie. The staff is quite knowledgable and friendly. All of the products are super delicious and you would never know they were gluten-free!!!!!
