The waiter didn’t know what gluten is, so I didn’t feel like asking about sterility or contamination… also, no gluten free options on the kids menu.

The waiter had no idea what gluten is, first assumed it was lactose, I explained again and then proceeded to bring me bread. I was stupid enough not to listen to these red flags - was immediately punished with deathly diarrhea. Don't go here.

Not a super big selection, but delicious, fresh food clearly marked on the menu. I had oysters miramar, crab Louie salad, and artichoke soup- all tasty. Drinks are generous.

The chef was knowledgeable about GF even though the waiter was not. They do have a typo on the menu that list the crab ravioli as GF -it is not! I had the crusted salmon plate and it was delicious!

Nice variety of menu items were marked GF. Our server was very knowledgeable and pointed out other menu selections that could be modified to be GF. My wife and I shared the fresh crab cocktail appetizer, then she ordered the blackened salmon and I had the seafood paella. Everything was delicious and we had no issues. Aside from the food, the restaurant overlooks the beach and has a colorful, 100-year-plus history. Try to get a window table to watch the surf and beach activity.

I have loved this restaurant for years! Perfect location with awesome view! The gluten free items are many and the staff aware of the concerns. The food was delicious! I had salmon and my son enjoyed halibut. Gluten free items were clearly marked. Only thing to make it perfect would be gluten free bread
Yes
I would classify this place as adequate dining at fine dining prices. Yes, there is a GF menu but it is incredibly limited. For example, all entrees (5 or 6) come with plain white rice. You cannot get a baked potato. I think that maybe their GF menu is the same as their dairy free menu. Absolutely zero creativity. Another component to this place is volume - both the loudness and the obviousness of how quickly they want to turn over your table to someone else. I gave it one star for location (on the beach) one for having a GF menu, and one because I'm not sick after eating there. I don't mind paying for great dining experiences but this wasn't one of them
