Staff initially seemed to be very knowledgeable on the gluten-content of their menu items, and I was assured several times that one of my choices (spinach and goat cheese salad) and, in fact, all of their salads were gluten free. I had eaten a large portion of my salad before realizing there was barley all over the bottom of the bowl - an ingredient not listed in the menu description. The manager and server were extremely apologetic and comped our whole meal, but the damage was done. I tried to provide some education, and I strongly encouraged them to list accurate ingredients in their menus and educate kitchen and server staff on ingredients and allergies. I give it 2 stars because the food was freaking delicious (the octopus in particular was fantastic), all ingredients are from scratch, and the drinks were phenomenal - there is no excuse for this sort of oversight from a restaurant like this, and I hope they make positive changes for the future.

Knowledgeable staff with great recommendations. Everything was delicious. 4 Stars because they had only sorbet for a dessert option...no dedicated fryer either.
