Permanently closed. Shame, because this was the best gluten free restaurant in the East Bay.

The owner is a Celiac and is very vigilant about all allergies that accompany Celiac. The food was delicious but it was the atmosphere that had me completely in love! The outdoor eating area is surrounded by floor to ceiling plants, all organic, all edible. It was a beautiful experience with friendly and knowledgeable staff, wonderful food, and awesome vibe!

Only a 4 star because one of the two Entrees we ordered had little flavor- I loved the chicken and waffles, with a light blueberry syrup.

In town to visit family and stopped by this place for lunch. Not only is it a dedicated facility, but it has a stunning backyard, too! I enjoyed the burger salad with a side of the pao de queijo waffle--the waffle was so delicious that I bought a package to take with me! I also indulged in a chocolate apple cake, which was moist but not as flavorful as if hoped. The only real downside here is the price, which are a bit steep, even for someone from New York. But if it's in your budget, treat yo'self!

Everything is gf! I really liked the chicken curry, and yummy avocado dessert. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere, although most seats are outside with minimal shade.

100% GF menu. Had a delicious paleo taco salad. Wife had chicken curry. This is real food using all parts of the animal. Really nice outdoor dining area. Highly recommend in Berkeley's Gourmet Ghetto.

At first, I scoffed a little; the portion of the lamb "pie" they served me was (i) small and (ii) not actually a pie, merely its fillings with some gf crumbs on top. And I felt salt'n spices were missing.

But then I kept eating, and the balance of veggies and meat, of mashed potatoes and crunch on top, made me appreciate it more with every bite: juicy veggies that were just right (not too crisp, not mushy at all), great-quality meat, and mmh, fluffy potatoes. Also came around to this texture element on top.

After a few hours, I was still feeling full and satisfied. This was as far from Fast Food as you can go with, well. Faster food.

Overall, will definitely come again. It's expensive, but then again, show me a hipster place that ain't.
