The owner has Celiac Disease and they recently changed their entire menu to be GF except the flour tortillas that they use for their burritos. No cross contamination with the fryer because everything is GF, including the breaded mahi tacos!
I got so so sick. Ordered tacos and was told they were gf. I’m currently writhing in pain.
First of all the nachos are amazing. When I asked about my options (gluten intolerance) I was told that the chips are fried in the morning with fresh oil so they don't come in contact with any of the other fried items. Also, the tacos are small but tasty and served on corn tortillas. Overall a great experience, the only complaint is the price. The vibe is also delightfully tropical.
They use all corn tortillas for tacos/quesadillas. Unfortunately the tortilla chips are fried in the same fryer as breaded items. The guacamole was very good and fresh on its own without any chips. Would definitely recommend. The staff seemed knowledgeable and the atmosphere is great.
