They are now 100% dedicated gluten free. They used to sell burritos with flour tortilla but don’t serve those anymore. They have always been safe but nice to have some awesome food that’s guaranteed to be safe.

The food was incredible! I tried the empanadas, quesabirria quesadillas, carnitas tacos, esquites, churros, and tres leches cake. Everything was delicious and the entire menu is gluten free! I am a very sensitive Celiac and did not get sick.

I am sitting in the restaurant, having just ordered a gluten free churro (!!!!) because EVERYTHING here is gluten free. The meal was absolutely incredible. I’m from San Diego and I don’t believe in Mexican food on the east coast, but this place proved me wrong. Do not sleep on the quesabirria quesadilla. It’s one of the best things I’ve eaten in a long time. But everything here is excellent.

Mission Taqueria has not always been 100% GF/celiac friendly. This is a new shift over the last few years and I am BLOWN away. The empanadas are filled with plantains and took me to some floaty happy place. The mahi mahi tacos are fried perfectly with the most balanced jalapeño Mayo slaw but the most incredible part of my meal last night was the fluffy tres leches cake, with the tangiest diced pineapple… the churros are amazing as well they come with chocolate and dulce dipping sauces. But you really can’t go wrong… all of the tacos and choices are on point!!!! And the staff are the best. Mezcal margarita for the win btw.

Pretty much everything on the menu is gluten free! We ordered chips and salsa and you get to choose three different kinds of salsa. The coconut salsa was different but tasty. The other two were delicious! The tacos were good. We loved the churros. The tres leches was ok. The atmosphere is fun a bit noisy but we enjoyed our food.

Per their printed menu, everything is gluten free. If you select onlie order you get an option for a burrito in a flour tortilla. Picked up for takeout and even after a walk to our hotel the food was still delicious and it was great to not worry about my meal. My GF hubby enjoyed it all as well!

Note- printed menu doesn't include burritos. It's not dedicated GF but the other menu options don't really apply.

All of the food on the menu is gluten free (a few things contain nuts which is noted specifically on the menu) I have other food sensitivities and our waiter Shaun was very knowledgeable about every item on the menu. He was also a fantastic waiter!!

Wonderful service! The burritos are the only thing w/ gluten. I started asking questions and the gentleman instantly knew where I was going with it. He explained about the care taken to avoid CC. I ordered a quesadilla and it was the first of the day. Mine was brought out separately from my boyfriend’s. Food was just so good but the level of service was unmatched. Highly recommend.

We loved Mission Taqueria so much, we ate there twice during our visit to Philly. The whole menu was gluten free. Highly recommend the chips with guacamole, the fish tacos, and the shrimp tacos.

Our server informed us that everything at this restaurant is gluten-free, even the churros! This was so exciting. My kid really missed churros after her diagnosis, so we had to have them, of course. Go for happy hour discounts. We had some tasty things here and felt so relieved that everything is gluten free.

The owner has Celiac Disease and they recently changed their entire menu to be GF except the flour tortillas that they use for their burritos. No cross contamination with the fryer because everything is GF, including the breaded mahi tacos!

First of all the nachos are amazing. When I asked about my options (gluten intolerance) I was told that the chips are fried in the morning with fresh oil so they don't come in contact with any of the other fried items. Also, the tacos are small but tasty and served on corn tortillas. Overall a great experience, the only complaint is the price. The vibe is also delightfully tropical.

They use all corn tortillas for tacos/quesadillas. Unfortunately the tortilla chips are fried in the same fryer as breaded items. The guacamole was very good and fresh on its own without any chips. Would definitely recommend. The staff seemed knowledgeable and the atmosphere is great.
