Went in for a meal to go and ordered a gluten free wrap. Because I’ve learned to make double & triple sure that my food is made properly, I explicitly asked the cashier/counter person three times if they offered gluten free wraps and I was assured they did. I got my sandwich, even opened it before I left and told the counter person I wanted to make sure it was gluten free. She confirmed, I left, began eating my sandwich and my stomach very quickly told me it was NOT. I went back in and asked their cook if the wrap they made me was gluten free and SURPRISE: it was not. She told me the counter person never mentioned it on the order.

The cook issued me a refund and the counter person gave me a half-hearted apology. When I told her I was now going to be sick, she seemed like she couldn’t be bothered.

If this place going to offer diners options for their allergies & dietary needs, maybe the staff need to be properly trained. I won’t be coming back.
