They brought me a dish of GF soy sauce, which always makes me nervous because I don't know if that's what it actually is. I am sensitive and not Celiac, so it can take 30 minutes to find out I've eaten gluten. I am beggining to feel ill, though. This appears to be the sort of place that cuts corners, so I guess I'm not surprised.
There is very little on the menu here for a GF diet. Most of the rolls have imitation crab, are deep fried, or both. I had the salmon avocado roll and some salmon and shrimp nigiri, and those were just ok.
Do be aware that the fish in the spicy salmon and spicy tuna rolls is minced, so the rolls are squishy. Another diner in our party ordered a set plate of crab, spicy tuna, and spicy salmon, and all 3 were minced and unpleasant.
Another in our party had udon with steak, and the noodles were overcooked and slimy.
FYI, this is a very loud restaurant, even if not seated in the hibachi section.
We spent $93 after tip for 3 people, and left at least 50% of the food behind. There is a fee to use a card, too. Won't be back.
