1-1-2021 Update: Just learned this establishment was sold and I have no idea if the owners will offer gluten free like the previous owners. 10-3-2020 We went to this establishment after doing a search on the app for a gluten-free offering restaurant in the area. We didn’t know what to expect when we arrived but it is your typical small town bar. It is more of a bar than a restaurant as far as the Interior goes. Nothing fancy. We were a little skeptical at first but the owner waited on us and he made us feel more than comfortable about the gluten-free choices we had as he has celiac himself. He is very passionate about his business and knowledge of gluten issues. We enjoyed our food and we absolutely loved the desert. We will be back. One thing that could make this a better experience for those with gluten issues is if they had a completely separate menu listing only gluten-free items. Basically they hand you their regular menu and go down the list of items telling you what they can make gluten-free.

MJ's is absolutely the best place I have eaten in 7 years since I had to go GF.. I've never had so many options before, and I've eaten at many dedicated gluten free places! The owner is celiac.
Almost everything on the menu can be be made gluten, dairy, and soy free including the buns, pizza crust, breading for anything fried, etc. I had a fried mushrooms and a breaded pork tenderloin made from ribeye on the best GF bun I've ever had.
They have a dedicated gluten free fryer and prep space. If you're just gluten free they have chocolate cake for dessert.
I have never felt so safe eating out before and I cannot wait to go back!
The members of our party who are not gluten free loved their food too. The one pound steak burger and french dip are highly recommended.

This place is AMAZING! The owner has celiac and his staff is very well educated on cross-contamination. They have a large variety of gluten free options. They have a dedicated fryer for the fried food. I would highly recommend this place for anyone that has celiac.

They have a dedicated fryer so you can have fries and they bread their own chicken strips. The owner is celiac and was awesome at explaining what was safe and what was not safe to eat. He even had a gluten free dessert.

Friendly staff that is very knowledgeable not only about gluten free ingredients but also preparation precautions with gluten free food. Any hand breaded item can be GF. GF buns, bread, and pizza crust available so a large portion of the menu is available to those eating GF. They also had gluten free dessert when we were there! (A real dessert - not just fruit or ice cream. Chocolate cake!)

Excellent meal, carefully prepared and served gluten free. Owner has celiac disease and totally understands the need for careful ingredient selection and preparation. I wish I lived closer!
Gluten free pizza. Best. Thing. Ever. Always very accommodating of dietary needs. The owner (Matt) has Celiac's disease, so even the flour they use is gluten free.
