Good GF cannoli. It doesn’t taste like a regular one. But since I can’t have the regular one, this hit the spot. Thanks.
My 10 year old son (celiac) was able to have his 1st Canoli! He loved it. My 7 year old son (celiac) got a gluten free Whoopi pie. They both LOVED their dessert. 2 gf canoli, 1 gf Whoopi pie, 1 chocolate pb egg (not gf) $19. Well worth it for my kids to feel like everyone else! No reactions from either boy who are both celiac and very sensitive.
Cannoli was great and same size as regular ones. Not sure if there was an up charge. Cash only!
Wonderful gluten free cannoli!
Cannolis were amazing. They were very knowledgeable about celiac. They said they are always working on new gf products. Everything was amazing. They have non-celiac employees try the products to make sure they taste as good as the non-gf products. They were amazing.
I LOVE their gluten free cannoli, which are made off-site by the owner's daughter so as not to cross contaminate. The gluten free products are stored separately in a clearly labeled case. The only other gluten free item I have tried there was a lemon poppy seed muffin which was delicious. Also they have excellent iced cappuccino.
They have been out of cannolli shells when I’ve gone, their Whoopie Pies are good!
Cannoli was delicious...no issues.
The were very helpful to us and the cannoli was very good and they said coming out with new gf products every day and working on a cupcake
Gluten Free cannoli was delicious as were whoopee pies. Pastries are baked in a separate GF facility and kept in a separate case away from regular pastries. Worker washed his hands and put on gloves before he served us. Also NIMA texted both and were gluten free.
So happy to find a GF cannoli! Hasn’t half bad either
I have gotten their gluten free whoopie pies and cookies on several occasions. Always delicious, never gotten me sick. The line is shorter and moves faster than Mike's, but it is cash only.
I have celiac and had no reaction the 3 times I’ve been. So amazing to have a cannoli again. Baked goods were a main concern when I was diagnosed. Be sure to tell them you have celiac when they pipe the cannolis. Also there’s a risk of contamination so ask for fresh toppings!
Tried the gf cannolli after reading other reviews of it being celiac safe. The taste was ok at best and I was very ill after eating it.
Awesome gluten free cannoli. The waitress was knowledgeable about which fillings and toppings were safe from cross contamination. Nice to have a place for gluten and non gluten to enjoy a pastry together.
Fabulous. GF muffins and cannolis. Had steak and egg breakfast and it was delicious. Really friendly staff. Highly recommend.
Gluten free items are clearly marked on the menu. The cannoli is delightful.
Not many places you can find gluten free cannoli. The ricotta...omg! It was delicious. A little speedy $5.95 for one small one but I'd pay again for it😋. Note- cash only
Cannoli was pretty good. Not many GF options
Very few options here
So awesome to have a dedicated sealed case for the gluten free baked goods. My daughter loved the cookies. Make it a stop on your Boston "to do" list!!
where else can you get a celiac friendly gluten free csnnoli? it's not a dedicated bakery, so I don't expect a lot of options. Great Black and White cookies too!
Amazing gluten free cannoli! Highly recommend!
Fucking gluten free cannoli! Kept in a separate container from gluten. Pricey sure, but so delicious.
The cannolie was excellent but very small. I was happy to even have a gluten free option so I was thrilled. As the comments stated above, not many choices. Also, thank goodness I double-checked ( as I always do), that it was gluten free... she must not have heard me and I almost bought a regular one. She immediately corrected the mistake. 3 stars because there were only 2 choices.
Gluten free cannoli! Duh you have to come here. Only the ricotta and chocolate chips are gluten free friendly options for toppings. The pistachios and almonds are not GF. They have the gluten free items on the counter near the main registers separate from everything else. Delicious!
Gluten free cannoli delicious. Made to order. Not a lot of gf options.
Limited GF options--thus a 2 star overall rating. Had their ricotta cannoli. It was ok, I'd say 3 stars. But I am not much of a cannoli person. However, Modern Pastry's cannoli is better than the cannolis I've had at other places (Mike's pastry, included). Would I have it again? Yes.
gluten free cannoli freshly packed. worth waiting in line for!
When gf options are available there are delicious! Love being able to indulge in a cannoli, whoopie pie, or muffin. The almond muffin is my favorite.
It was great to be able to have a gf cannoli. They come pre filled with one of the fillings. Not amazing but I was very pleased to have one! I'm gluten intolerant and did not get sick.
GF cannoli was great! The shell isn't like a traditional shell. But is anything ever equal to the version with gluten?
not really many gluten free options
They have gf cannoli, whoopie pies, muffins and cookies. We had the cannoli and the shell was just ok - not great...
Gluten free cannoli was delicious!
Delicious whoopie pies!
The locals told us to go here and after waiting in a long line, we were first told they had gluten free cannoli only to then be told they were sold out. Nothing there but some muffins that did not look appetizing. They couple next to us left empty handed as well. If they are advertised on this app they should really have more of a supply, the demand is certainly there.
Whoopie pies are tiny compared to their gluten counterpart, and sure they are moist, like eating wet sand. Rather disappointing after standing in a crazy long line. Shame their creme brûlée isn't gluten free...
Whoopie pies are amazing. Almond muffins are nearly as good.
Really moist whoopie pies. Also muffins & cookies available.
Check it out if you're craving something sweet n tasty, but go early, they run out. The whoopie pies are almost always super-moist and delicious. Not down with the types of muffins, so I haven't tried them. (They should do blueberry, hello!) During the Holidays they did a couple different types of cookies, which were all delicious...they should do those year round. Never had any issues eating their products.
Tried it for 1st time & will def return. I didn't like whoopie pies before I was celiac but I don't have sweets much now so I figured I'd try it...sooo glad I did (& also glad I didn't go by the bad reviewer) cake was moist & chocolatey... Cream was sweet but not obnoxiously so..... What more do we want? I also got lemon poppyseed muffin & almond muffin! Nice to be able to eat junk like everyone else when I'm in the N. End :-) Forgot to mention... Each GF item is immediately wrapped in its own plastic wrapper & kept separate from other baked goods.
I had the whoopie pie, the only option available (which was rather disappointing, walking in and having to see aaallll of those lovely things I couldn't eat). Given the rave reviews of their whoopie pies from other people, I'm assuming (hoping) that this one day was just a fluke. I think the coffee in their recipe was really burnt and gave it an overall nasty flavor. Better luck next time?
The whoopie pies are so good!! They have always had gf items when I've gone and I've been there maybe 4 times in the past couple of years. You can call ahead to see what gf items they have. These are located in a basket near the registers. I don't recall liking the other couple of items I tried, but the whoopie pies are so soft and moist and heavy and DELICIOUS that I can't help but devour the whole thing! (and then I have guilt). So worth it!
was not impressed at all. both the whoopi pies and muffins were terrible! places like this give gluten free a bad name. there is definitely better gf desserts out there.
no gluten free today. that stinks! I won't be back.
