We went after reading reviews on here and we were very pleased with everything. The waitress knew about celiac and there were a lot of options for my son. They have a dedicated gluten free fryer and we were able to share several appetizers! Overall a great experience and we plan on going back again for sure
I eat here pretty regularly and haven't had an issue. And it's actually Cuban food, which I haven't seen anywhere else in Tucson.
Awesome food, service and atmosphere! The staff were knowledgeable about gluten free options. They have a separate fryer , too. My daughter (celiac), had yuca Frita, black beans, and fufu de platano. All of it was so good! GF and vegetarian options listed on the menu.

Mojo Cuban is now my favorite restaurant in Tucson! The menu is clearly marked and the staff is knowledgeable. Majority of the menu is gluten-free and dairy-free. They also have a dedicated fryer. We ordered multiple things of the menu because I wanted to try a little bit of everything and even my non-celiac husband was raving about the food! We already made plans to come back. I left very full and happy! I’m highly sensitive and didn’t react to anything. If you’re celiac, you can eat here with confidence.
Almost all plates are marked GF, great selection and they even offer GF desserts. Food & service were great. I am highly sensitive celiac and had no reactions at all.
The food is delicious and all menu items are clearly marked for gluten free. We had the plantain chips with pineapple guacamole. Two of us split the Taste of Havana plate and then Flan and Cafe Cubano. Wonderful meal with terrific service and a lovely atmosphere.
