This restaurant claims that they are able to accommodate gluten free, but I have gotten sick everytime I give this place another chance. I'm not sure if they just don't bother to change their gloves after handling corn bread and then handle meat or what. Even after ordering through a manager, I still got cross contaminated food. The food is decent and it seems like they try to accommodate gluten free, but it also seems like something doesn't go quite right and cross contamination happens.
I am always excited when a restaurant has a gluten free menu. It gives me hope that they take a gluten free diet seriously. I ordered a Smoked Portobello Salad with NO croutons, which was really tasty, until I bit into a crouton. Really really disappointed. The server was very apologetic however I was unable to finish my lunch after realizing there was bits of croutons mixed in with the cheese, and did not get my food comped. Really hoping I didn’t accidentally consume any bits of crouton without realizing it. I unfortunately didn’t have a great experience, but there are plenty of other options on the menu that might be a bit safer? Though I question how dedicated the kitchen is to their gluten free menu.
