I’ll be honest, my mom was kinda worried about this place not being great with gluten free due to nothing being labeled on the menu. However, the chef informed us that the whole menu was gluten free, and they had a dedicated fryer. I wasn’t glutened and the food itself was great! A lot of appetizers like El Chorizo con Arepita and Los Empanadas also only use a few ingredients which is really good for kids or people who can sometimes be fairly picky like me. My mom and I also ordered a rice dish and while the egg that came with the dish wasn’t great, the rice tasted great and it also came with chicken, fries and plantains! It’s also super reasonably priced! The empanadas are two dollars each and if you’re not the most hungry, 3 of those would probably be enough to fill you up. Overall, we have a hidden gem here, folks! I would very much recommend coming here if you’re looking for a great tasting and reasonably priced lunch with the assurance of no cross contamination!
Had one of the tastiest meals I've had in a long time. The wait staff was knowledgeable about gluten. Columbian food protein is corn based. The empanadas appetizers were delicious. I had one of their lunch specials, which I could not finish and ended up taking home and having for dinner.
The staff are super helpful and pointed out to me parts of the menu that would not be gluten free (which were clear, such as breaded food) and there were only a few. The corn empanadas are naturally gluten free and they can use corn tortillas on pretty much any menu item. The food is amazing!! I can't wait to go back
Columbia’s cuisine which naturally does not include wheat flour. There is one dish with breading, everything else is GF (including the empanadas - made with corn flour). Server knowledgeable and able to answer questions. And the food is fantastic!
