Moll’s Fish and Chips offers a Gluten free beer battered hake and chips with mushy peas and tartare sauce. They assured me that all sides and dips are gluten free and that a separate fryer is used for the gluten free foods.
I do have some concerns over cross contamination however as the food truck is quite small and most of the foods have flour based ingredients. I’m also not extremely sensitive to gluten, so if there was slight contamination I probably wouldn’t feel it.
When asked about dairy free, I was told that the garlic sauce had milk in because it was made with mayonnaise - which is made of eggs not milk anyway. That didn’t instill confidence for dairy free so I didn’t push further.
From a taste perspective it’s lovely and lovely staff.
