This new MOM's location has everything you've come to expect from the chain's grocery stores PLUS a cafeteria that is amazing. You can build your own vegetarian/vegan meal for about $10 from scratch. All the ingredients are out for you to see, and you can watch staff make your meal in front of you. Gluten-containing items do not directly touch any surface that your food is being prepared on, nor are they heated in the same place as your food. Same goes for dairy-containing items. They've done a really great job about being transparent about preparation and ingredients, and as a result I have never gotten sick. I highly recommend this location for its eatery alone, not to mention all the gf items in the grocery store itself!

My absolute favorite grocery store in the DC area. Excellent gluten-free selection, clearly marked items, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Not a restaurant but a food market. There is a lunch bar called "Naked Lunch" in the same building where you can order freshly made, hot vegetarian and vegan entrees and salads. I got glutened before a few times at the lunch bar even when asking for dishes without things that shouldn't be cross-contaminated. The soups seem to be safe and they have fresh kombucha on tap.
There are also a massive amount of gluten free options for gluten free shoppers. There is a dedicated gluten free section in both the dry and frozen sections and you can find gluten free items sprinkled throughout the store. Ready-made meals are available in the refrigerated aisle (across from the milk) if you are hungry for a snack but apprehensive about the lunch counter. The dry bread section also has gluten free options such as Canyon Bakehouse, Little Northern Bakehouse (gf and vegan), and some tortilla/buns.
The beer and wine section has a few options too. I highly suggest Green's Tripel Blonde Ale as it's 8% alc/vol (oh yeah). You can also get Omission and Glutiny beers at this location. There are also local cider options that are gluten free. If you don't like beer, grab a bottle of wine. Something is always on sale!
If you're having trouble finding a specific item, the customer service counter is right by the bread section. Someone is always there and willing to help. Definitely recommended!!
Oh yeah. And there's free WiFi for guests!
