Review of Monk's Bar & Grill at the Wilderness

Asked for a gluten free menu and they came with their binder indicating allergens. Manager came to the table a few minutes later to review it with me, and assure me they have separate GF pots/pans and prep area for GF meals. Warned me that like any restaurant cross contamination can occur but they do everything possible to try to prevent it. Had a Nacho burger and did not get sick., with fresh jalapeños on it instead of battered. They offered a side salad or cooked veggies as an option instead of the fries that go in a contaminated fryer. Tortilla chips are also deep fried so no nachos... cheese and guac are safe thou. Had Angry Orchard cider or Greens GF IPA as a certified GF option.
