Review of Monty's Blue Plate Diner

their info says they don't have dedicated kitchen space but boy were they aware of making sure what all my allergies were, willing to look at or double check ingredients they weren't sure of. no soy in their grill oil, ample gf and vegetarian choices. breakfast all day. my friend and I both live more than an hour away and will drive back just to eat here. great service, kind and attentive even though they were busy, still refilled our waters after we paid. the sweet potato hash was amazing. even though i had to pick pieces of three different menu items, it was cheaper than one entree would be anywhere else. they did say they charge extra for gluten free bread, which i didn't get to try because it had potato flour in it, but you can't expect a place not to. what i ended up doing... sweet potato hash without eggs, but add a hamburger patty avocado and cilantro. I did not allergic react to this meal. rare in Wisconsin for me. ( allergic to soy gluten dairy corn potato beans eggs and others.)
