Good food and good selection. I had a breakfast taco and a slice of pie.

I went with my family. Picked out my meal ahead of time since I'm the only Celiac. Got the Buckwheat pancake which is as big as a plate, literally could have only got this and been full. I got two eggs after asking and confirming that the eggs would not be cross contaminated. I mentioned after asking about the eggs that I was Celiac and our waitress made a note on our order that I was Celiac. My food came out first before the rest of my family and I genuinely loved the pancake. It had an excellent taste and I didn't have a reaction. My grandmother had the same order as me and she enjoyed it as well. Perfectly allowed me to go to a place I loved before my diagnosis and get to enjoy it with family.

I had the chicken and grits. They were able to make it gluten free for me-- It was great. They had a lot of gluten free items on the menu. It was busy and we went on a Monday morning around 10-10:30.

Loved the gf pancake; it’s huge btw. I’m revising my review a bit though because they have moved to a new location down the road so they can have a bigger place. They still have gluten free buns and they still have a gluten free batter to make gluten free onion rings and chicken fried stake. However, they no longer have a separate frier or separate toaster. They will clean off the grill to make your pancake if you ask.

Buckwheat pancake was good and our waiter was empathetic, but be careful here. There is no dedicated fryer or prep area and even the salads have a high probability of gluten-containing ingredients such as fried goat cheese.

I had breakfast here and was really impressed. Most restaurants idea of GF. Is to remove the offending portion and, wallah, it’s GF. Not here. Buckwheat pancakes are amazing, and don’t even need syrup they are so tasty and not over sweet. All fried items can have rice batter. The only problem is they don’t have a deducted fryer. And for dessert (I took it home for later). The candied pecan crusted chocolate pie if GF and amazing!!!!! Our waiter, Ryan, was very knowledgeable regarding gluten issues. I will return for chicken fried steak!!!!!!
Was so excited to find this place with great reviews. However, we went last Sunday. Before waiting 35 minutes for a table, I was able ask a manager if they had a dedicated fryer for gluten free. He said they did NOT. All GF items are fried with non GF items. Also, they do not have a separate prep area for GF foods. He said they could prep our food in a clean skillet. I was Not going to risk it. My daughter and I both have Celiac. The one star represents gluten safety, we did not eat here.

They have some standard options (like salads, eggs, bacon, GF buns for burgers, and a buckwheat pancake) and a nice chocolate pie for dessert. They offer GF fried items, but they are all fried in a shared fryer. No GF menu, but the servers are helpful and knowledgeable.

Delicious gf onion rings and fried shrimp! Friendly waiter who knew the answers to my gf questions. The chocolate pie was worth the 3 hour drive.

my favorite gluten-free place to eat in town. the gluten-free chocolate pie is awesome!!

Fried chicken sandwich. Need I say more??? Best meal I have had in years! Truly an amazing spot and such a cute quaint little town! Also you can have an open container as you walk around downtown! Food and service is seriously AMAZING!

Not Celiac Friendly! I have mixed feelings because the food is so good, and if you are not sensitive it might be ok. I have eaten here 4 times and gotten sick three times! This morning was the first time I have tried it in months, I based it on the good reviews on here, but I shouldn't have.
I had GF Buckwheat pancakes and my wife had GF Chicken Fried Steak, both were excellent, but now I'm paying for it.
They make a great effort at GF offerings but it doesn't seem that they are concerned with cross-contamination.
If you eat GF for lifestyle, enjoy! If you are Celiac, avoid.

A little bit of an issue with a new waiter, but otherwise this place is lovely. Pretty much everything on the menu can be made gf. They can fry anything gf (I was really excited that somewhere not all the way downtown has gf chicken strips!), have gf buns, and have gf pancakes. They also have an amazing chocolate pie with a pecan crust. I highly recommend this place. However, they did explain that they didn't have a dedicated kitchen area so it isn't recommended for celiac's or anyone with extreme sensitivities.
Can fry anything gf. Also have gf buns, buckwheat pan cakes and gf desserts. Super knowledgeable staff. Going back anytime I can.
We found this place on our way to austin. Our waiter knew exactly what was safe. Fried pickles were great and the manager personally came to our table explaining that the fried feta was not safe since they make it ahead of time. Both hamburger and migas were excellent. definitely going back.

We LOVE this place. It is one of the reasons we fell in love with Georgetown when we were house hunting! My father can order anything he wants here, and be comfortable that he is eating Gluten Free. The staff is very friendly! Our favorite thing is the fruit salad - especially in the summer! We love the little store in the back too!

Used to be great and I've gone there for years, but in the last year, I've been sick from cross-contamination 4 out of 4 visits. . Absolutely not on my list anymore
No GF menu, but servers are very knowledgeable about food ingredients and can make any needed substitutions. If you have questions, the servers will find an answer. Professional management ensures that kitchen is very well run. Garden in back where produce is grown. They also sponsor a farmers market on-site.
