Ordered a GF dish that requires some substitutions. The waiter took note but came back and said they’d accidentally put the grit cake (not GF) on my plate. So they had to re redo it. When it came out, the steak was sitting on top of pan fried potatoes that were not GF. I sent the entree back and settled for just a side of grits. (Lost confidence in anything not entirely GF) The manager came to deliver the grits and casually said she’d talk to the kitchen. Totally insufficient. She didn’t take ownership, offer an explanation, apologize genuinely, or even offer to comp my measly side dish of grits (to compensate for the risk or for leaving me hungry while the rest of our full table ate.) Nothing. It was an incredibly disappointing experience.
