I had Morning Star a few weeks ago while out in Grand Haven. We ate there twice and I had the Pavo Tocino Omlette and Albuquerque Turkey Frittata both with gluten-free toast. The server was very knowledgeable and had the kitchen toast my toast separately in the oven to prevent cross contamination. The food was great and I had no issues with getting sick.
— Somewhat
— No gluten-free information on the menu
— Some
— Excellent
I was so hoping I could still enjoy one of my favorite restaurants after being diagnosed with celiac disease. Unfortunately, I had the worst cross contamination incident. They offer gluten free, but are most definitely not celiac friendly.
No
Staff were very attentive and friendly. I was assured that my food would be prepared separately, even without my asking. Enjoyed a delicious smoked turkey, bacon, avocado lunch. I will definitely return here if we are in the area again!
Yes
Staff was not very knowledgeable and the menus did not specify what items were gluten free or not. Didn’t have very many options. Food was okay.
Not me necessarily a gf restaurant, however they do have gf toast (shared toaster).. but you can swap fresh fruit for toast (for us celiacs). The omelets are cooked in a pan and the potatoes are cooked on a separate part of the grill. manager was very reassuring that they take precautions. Food was delish!
