Moxie’s takes allergies and celiac seriously. Whether we order online or in the restaurant we have always had great experiences. Once you place your order and let them know it is an allergy or celiac a manager comes to your table to explain the steps they take to ensure your meal is safe. While no gluten serving restaurant can guarantee there will be no CC, they have always been very cautious to ensure my son and I have safe meals.

So this came up in my find me gluten free app. Sat down and asked for a gluten-free menu. The server brought it and the menu states on each individual item that this item will come in contact with wheat during the process of cooking or handling. It further states that there is nothing made in their kitchen that is safe for wheat allergy or celiac. Server came back and confirmed that information with us and we left.

There is a seperate gluten sensitive menu with a variety of options available. Staff seems very knowledgable and the manager has brought my food to the table every time I've eaten there to ensure quality. The bruschetta and street tacos are amazing! 🤤

My go to is usually the Cajun chicken sandwich. And they will put it on a gluten free bun for me. I’ve also got apps like their roasted feta and tomatoes. Instead of bread they substitute it for cucumbers for me. Or they have given me Mary brown gf crackers for the guacamole

They will bring out the manager to confirm no cross contamination. My daughter loves the gf burger and mashed potatoes (fryer is not dedicated and they know what that means)

Tons of options and best of all, a dedicated fryer for fries and they were maybe the best fries I’ve ever had!! I got the blackened chicken sandwich. It sounds like they normally have gf buns but were out. I got a lettuce bun and it was still delicious!!

My husband and I Ordered Burgers this past Sunday, we couldn’t believe the gf bun was only $1 up-charge… so cheap! The server told us they do not have a dedicated fryer (come on moxies! Invest) and our options were house salad or Caesar salad instead of fries. Great. Got the meal it was incredible, the bun was perfection! When we got the bill, we realized we had been up-charged for the salads. The extra was $3/each which I understand isn’t much, but it feels wrong to be up-charged for something out of our control. Be aware of extra charges… the burger and salad came out to $26.75 before taxes.
