Found in a GF forum. Arrived and asked for GF chips and fish. Explained it would be 10 or so mins as they had to put the fryer on.

Very informed and explained how the vinegar was safe also and why it confirmed to coeliac safe standards.

Offering was chips, fish, onion rings. Maybe more as I opted for fish and chips quickly. Great portion, great service. Seating area outside and upstairs also.

First onion rings I’ve had in 2 years! Fish and chips hot and fresh. My husband got gluten free as well so his order would be fresh.

I ordered haddock and chips, there was a 5 minute wait while they were fried separately, and without asking I was advised that the vinegar was tested to 12parts per million. Really good fish n chips.

Friendly staff kept the shop open for us when we arrived 10 min before closing. A great place to get your fish and chips fix. They even have vegan options.

Absolutely amazing. Great quality and I defy anyone to tell the difference between the gluten free and “normal” fish and chips. Max, the owner was SO good. Lovely chap, knowledgeable as he is coeliac himself. We enjoyed our chat while waiting for our food to be ready. Totally recommend!

I had a small fish & chips with mushy peas, and also bought a non-brewed condiment to take away. I enjoyed them very much. They also offer gluten-free onion rings. I had a discussion with the man frying the food who is also coeliac, and very knowledgeable. Everything gluten-free is fried separately, in palm oil, and I did not react to anything. There are seating areas outside and upstairs inside the restaurant.

No clear menu seen for gluten free option, does for vegans though, I just added for a large gluten free chips, I was served quickly and the chips were very tasty ,i had no problems after eating.

Staff were very helpful and explained to me all they could do gf and how they use a separate fryer. The fish was so crispy and delicious with gf vinegar too!

Owner is coeliac so knowledgeable and very aware.

Lots of food to choose from, not on a clear menu though so just ask for what you'd like

My has ceoliacs and was in a lot of pain after eating from gluten free menu here, I called and the manager was very confident it did not come from them.

Then told me to stick to my local I was not trying to get money back but would of been a nice gesture he seemed more concerned about defending himself than concerned about that some contamination had occurred.
