Review of Mr. Dewie's Emeryville

I love Mr Dewie's ice cream from the grocery store, but really disappointed that the retail location is not celiac friendly. Everything is gluten free except for the sugar cones, which creates cross contamination. Sadly they refuse to scoop from a clean container like several other shops I've been to will do. Also beware of the ice cream sandwiches, the gluten free cookies are made in a shared facility with potential cross contamination. Extra disappointed because they promote themselves as concerned about people with allergies and dietary issues. Bummer.
