I ate at this restaurant today with a group of friends. Three of us are GF. The owners were a delight to talk to and were very clear about the ingredients in their delicious food. We all left with a bag of yummy GF treats to take home after enjoying a brunch and tea. It is a treasure to find a restaurant in a rural area that had so many GF options. Highly recommend!
Little did we know when we discovered this quaint tea house how much we would be drawn back again and again. What’s to love? Well there’s multiple tea flavors. Get yours hot and it comes in a ceramic pot to pour into a lovely teacup. Coffee/lattes available as well. And the food! Sandwiches, wraps, soup, salads, fresh fruit, scones, cookies and more…oh my! Everything’s been yummy 😋 in our opinion. Now, you want to talk gluten friendly; yeh, me too! Most everything can be made gluten free. So many choices! And I’ve never had a bad reaction. Locally owned by some pretty nice folks. They make the experience of this tea house warm and welcoming.
I can't speak to cross contamination concerns as I didn't ask for those details, but great place!! Almost the entire menu can be made gf. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and sensitive to gf needs. Gf scone, and while supplies last they'll have gf brownie and cookies too. Will definitely visit again!
My mom owns this tea shop/bistro and her menu offers gluten free options. Their gluten free sandwiches and wraps are popular meals for regular customers who request gluten free. Their gluten free scones are delicious too! Desserts like strawberry cookies or lemon chamomile cookies often sell out so grab them when you come here!
