Amazing chicken curry and assam prawns. Have ordered takeaway twice now with no issues

We ate at Mulan few times with no issue. However, yesterday both myself and my daughter got glutened. We did notice the chef eating buns while cooking which isn’t acceptable.

The food was mediocre and overly sweet, and way too expensive for the quality. When i asked about how celiac friendly some of their desserts were they assured me they were fine and i had to push to find out they were cooked in a fryer shared with gluten foods. Will not be going back.

Mulan is a really great restaurant with tasty food and clear coeliac requirements. Have gone several times and never been disappointed.

I get takeaways from here all the time (the restaurant is also usually packed). Most of the mains and many of the sides are gluten-free or can be made gluten-free.
The GF Pad Thai, mum’s chicken curry and the vegan salad are all favourites of mine. I ate here before my coeliac diagnosis too and can’t tell the difference between GF and non-GF pad thai.
All gluten-free and ‘can be made gluten-free’ dishes are marked on the menu.
Plenty of vegan or nut free options too if you are trying to accommodate multiple dietary requirements (all marked on the menu). Shellfish containing dishes are also marked and the whole restaurant is dairy free. Overall they take allergens pretty seriously.
