This place isn’t nailing gluten free. Don’t feel confident that the servers understand.

Gluten free options are marked on the menu. Food was really good and the view of the lake is wonderful. If you also have a dairy allergy your options may be a little more limited to probably steak. The sides are not marked gluten free so you will have to make sure any sides you get are gluten free. I really enjoyed the sea bass, mashed potatoes and creme brûlée for dessert.

My waitress seemed knowledgeable about gluten free options. Pleasant. Food really was good. I ordered a salad with added blackened grouper which was very tasty. I would return for sure
Ordered an item marked with their "gf" symbol. Sides were not marked, so asked a few questions, which were answered in a pleasant, but not very well informed manner. When the entree arrived, it was on a bed of fried onions (lightly dusted with something). I asked about the coating, and after asking the cook, the waiter stated they were not gluten free. I pointed out the obvious problem of having this menu discrepancy, and waiter inquired whether it was an allergy (which was beside the point). This was at the Murphy NC location (part of restaurant group) and on a night when the regular chef was off.

Emailed before going to make sure of gluten free options. Was given a list but no sides or appetizers were listed, so I asked to be sure. Was surprised that the manager said no, making me think he didn't know much about gluten since I can't understand why mashed potatoes or green beans wouldn't be gluten free. We went anyway and I ordered the gluten free pasta dish. I was disappointed because it had little flavor and it was expensive. The service was also very slow and many times we were waiting for refills on drinks.
I enjoyed the beat steak I have ever had at this location. Was very pleased and did not notice a reaction after eating. Ordered to go, so cannot rate on a dining in experience.
Called before going, told they had several GF items listed on menu, including GF bread. Drove half an hour to get there. Two items on menu, no bread. NOT knowledgeable about cross contamination. Did not stay, will not go back. Celiacs: BEWARE!!!
